Loftsel was very clean and orderly, the peope were great and price was excellent. This really is a bang for your buck kind of place. The only drawbacks were the walk up staircases that are tough with lots of luggage and the nearby subways aren't the best trains so I can take between 30 - 60 minutes to get to

One of the nicestt hostels ive stayed at but... lacks in location from the sights, and it didnt feel to secure with no locks on nn dorm doors. It was an enjoyable stay though

It´s a nice hostel and fun people. Most of them are in NY for a longer time, and all young people, really easy to meet people.The neighborhood isn´t that good, and you don´t wanna walk alone there at night, and definitely don´t wonder around in other streets then where the hostel is. But it´s worth the money.
