Liked: Only Female 6 room was good. They always clean the room and whole area.

Disliked: 1. Breakfast: They just gave us batter of pancake. 2. Shower room: Lack of shower room. Sometimes, there was no hot water. 3. Safety: The area is really unsafety. I heard from neighbor. 4. Staff: I don't know why many people said staff was really nice. I booked Only Female 6 room for 5 days. However, when I get there, they said I had to stay mixed room for a one day because only female room always was full. I was upset, but I just standed because I understood. After one day, I stayed Only female room for two days. However, after two days later, they said I had to change room again becasue 6 woman was coming the room! I was angry and I thought they should not get the booking if there is no room! They showed me the another room and the room was 4 female room. I thought the room is better than 6 female room but it wasn't. It was too small to keep baggage. So, I asked them to get a refund. While they refund, I knew there was no room in another hostel. So I said I just stayed in 4 female room. But they said they will not allow me to stay in this hostel even if I booked again through the Internet. They are so mean and cold-hearted person.

Liked: Wes and Denver really made our stay at bourbon house they were very helpful and gave fantastic advice!

Disliked: Room was very small Bunk beds very uncomfortable

Liked: Staff extremely helpful and friendly with knowledge of the area and good tours to do - plus will book these tours for you. Great atmosphere with big patio and a living room for socialising with other guests. Free wifi worked throughout hostel. Free breakfast. Good location - in beautiful Garden district and 20min walk to the French quarter. Close to transport and grocery store and walking distance to cafes and bars of magazine street. Always plenty of hot water for showers no matter time of day

Disliked: 3-bed dorm quite small - not really enough room for 3 people with big suitcases. Sound tended to travel so if not going out the noise could keep you up

Liked: Great location if you're looking to see more than just the French Quarter! I also loved how the bathrooms were all spaced out but close together, there was always at least one open - no waiting in lines!

Disliked: The room had a bit of a funky smell at first, but the hostel itself was very clean.

Liked: The best hostel on my travel! The staff is heartwarmingly hospital and nice, the place itself is located in the beautiful Garden District and only a couple of blocks from the streetcar. Absolutely perfect.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Good location, close to street cars that take you to the main areas really cheaply. Free shuttle to and from greyhound and Amtrak was very useful. Pancakes for breakfast every morning. Clean and tidy.

Disliked: Not much information regarding things to do and see in New Orleans. We found all the good things to do on our last day and ran out of time!!

Liked: This hostel had the most social atmosphere of all the hostels ive been to, I'm not sure why but I loved it!

Disliked: You can only stay for 7 days, most hostels let you stay for 14...

Liked: Good location, Great staff, very safe and secure.

Disliked: Lack of showers is the only issue for us. Nothing else to note

Liked: This Place is very very good, as my first hostel it totally exceeded my expectations especial for the money paid. Friendly staff and generally a great atmosphere

Disliked: The room was a little warm, and the walk to the street cart is a little long but safe enough to walk back at 3 in the morning. so Worth it for the price

Liked: Safe neighbourhood, which as a solo female traveler was important to me. The outdoor courtyard was small, but pleasant. Make-your-own pancakes for breakfast was great!

Disliked: Could have done with a couple more bathrooms/showers, but it was never much of a problem for me personally. Not the liveliest hostel I've stayed in - they could have organised some hostel events for guests, maybe.

Liked: This place had a fantastic atmosphere! The staff at the front desk are incredibly nice and helpful! They provide a free shuttle to the Amtrak station and a pancake breakfast each and every morning. I really enjoyed my stay here, would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Staff would do anything for you, really friendly. Twin room was a little cramped with a bunk and a single bed and no window, but it was fine. Nice garden for socializing and decent kitchen. Clean throughout and good location for streetcar to the centre of the city, neighbourhood felt safe and we were happy walking back from town late at night

Disliked: Could do with somewhere inside to sit and eat when it's too humid for outside eating

Liked: Owners were so friendly and helpful! Provided a free shuttle service to the Greyhound and amtrak station. Excellent kitchen facility and common room with free internet and TV. Good location 5 mins walk from tram stop and 5 mins from a MASSIVE walmart. Clean rooms and bathrooms.

Disliked: Don't go for the one non-air conditioned room! Not very nice in the V hot New Orleans summer heat!

Liked: Safe, clean, nice pancakes and close to the nearby attractions as the french quarter and bourbon st! You can go walking!

Liked: The owners were very friendly and helpful. The area was about 15 minutes from downtown but you felt safe returning on an evening. Clean rooms and bathrooms and nice outdoor area.

Disliked: Only a couple of bathrooms in the area where our dorms were for quite a few people to use.

Liked: The staff, Adam & Anna, were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and it was quiet at night so you could rest if you want. Free pancake breakfast and storage in fridge if you want. Free internet access.

Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like.

Liked: It's definitely a very good choice and worth that money. I can just recommend it to everybody! Quite good location, friendly and helpful staff, and the house just makes you feel like at home.

Disliked: The room could be bigger, for 6/8 people on bunk beds it was a bit small, but for budget travellers like me that's not a tragedy or something you couldn't survive.
