Dorm Bed Occupancy:
NO MALES OVER 27
While our private rooms are for everyone and accommodate single travellers and all the way to families and groups of 8 , the "Student Dorm" bed is not for everyone.
Please note that the student dorm beds are designed for college students on holiday or in the area to do a research project or internship. Most of our dorm beds are filled with international travellers staying from one night to 7 nights (our max dorm stay can only be 7 nights)
If you do not meet the following requirements, please consider booking a single private room- which is equally budget priced and allows students that qualify to reserve and enjoy these dorm bed specials.
1. You should possess a foreign passport.
2. You must have a current student ID with the current year listed on it and a bar code or id stripe that can be scanned.
3. You must be able to provide "Travel Itinerary" - this is a ticket, bus, train or plane or rental car agreement with a bar code that can be scanned by our system.
This is required in order to produce the key card you need to pass security locks and this :
Be a "Good Dorm Guest"
Please consider other student travellers when you book a dorm. If you know you snore, or have other annoying habits. Consider a private room. If you require a certain amount of sleep, and want the "lights out at 10pm", a dorm bed is not a good option.
What happens if I already booked a "dorm bed" and didn't realize I won't qualify at reception?
1. You will be offered a private room at a discounted rate if one is available on day of arrival.
2. If you show up and we don't have a discounted private single available, we will refer you over to another guest house that has discounted dorm beds available for non-student travellers at the same price.
In all cases, contact us as soon as you realize you may not qualify, so we can set you up at our sister property, or reserve a budget single for you
Choose between Dorm Beds as low as $17 a night, through deluxe private single rooms and as large as private 6 person ensuite. All guests enjoy use of total facility. Kitchen use, Common Rooms with Free Internet, Wi-Fi, BBQ Nights, Patio Parties.
The AAE Bourbon House Staff Welcomes you to the 'Mansion' located just a block off Magazine Street. From the minute you walk in, you will feel the warmth and charm of New Orleans Hospitality. Spacious, clean rooms in both private and dorm style. Common Room with Flat screen TV, Free Internet, Large Gourmet Kitchen, Outdoor Party Patio with BBQ...all at your disposal.
New Years, Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Spring break, July 4th, all have a 3 day min. Your card will also be charged a preauthorize to verify your card. If you card declines your booking will automatically be cancelled.
Please be accurate on your arrival time. If you are going to be over 2 hours later than your scheduled arrival time, please let us know, or your reservation could be subject to cancellation.
