Liked: This hostel is so much fun, it is a great place to meet new people and have a great time. It was not the cleanest of hostels by a long shot but what it lacks there it makes up for in character. The staff were really friendly as well.

Liked: Great hostel! In a safe location, but getting towards some sketch areas. Don't walk alone at night, take the trolly to the french quarter, and always cab it back! It's only $10 with tip, so well worth it. Hostel is clean, and the people are friendly. The cat sleeping around is pretty cool too.

Liked: Meeting the hoards of transient and permanent people who all keep telling me of the curse of New Orleans. It's fun and young, but not the cleanest place around. Everyone is willing to help with any problems or activities to hook up with. Lots of fun and good value.

Liked: The atmosphere was perfect for all types of travellers, new or old. The hostel thrived with activity and was in a safe location within New Orleans.

Liked: Very funky and hippified lots of cool art on all the walls. we actuall stayed in the house next door and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Bathroom very clean and hot showers. staff nice and friendly and on the first night the owner cooked a huge chicken stew and rice which was very tasty. it rained a lot when we were there but if new orleans is on your list then this is a good place to stay. right opposite the tram stop to take you right into town.
