Liked: If you're an anti-social neat-freak this isn't the place for you. However, if you're an easygoing, funloving character it's the perfect place to stay in New Orleans. Great spot, great people, awesome 5 dollar dinners! This place has got so much personality.

Liked: Though it is a mile or so from the center of the French Quarter, the street car stops right next to the hostel and it's door to door service. Great base of operations, and easy to meet people at the communal dinners.

Liked: free atmosphere and everyone in the hostel is ready for being friends to each other. I love this place and my friends who i met there. It was a good location cauz it just take 3 minutes to the red street car which is the main street car to travel places. Also, they offer a special meal for Christmas! It was much better than i expected !!!!

Liked: This was a great hostel. Good location, very cool place with awesome private rooms that were really unique. Not the cleanest place but in a way it kind of adds to the atmosphere! There were good activities organised and even a cheap lasagne on offer when we stayed. Would recommend.

Liked: Nice homey atmosphere. Streetcars are close. Papertowels in shared showers and kitchen is a plus !! Free condoms aswell. Not superclean, especially the fridges are dirty and smelly... Security at front door and dorms could be better. Some guests don't lock the door after leaving. Many times there's nobody at the desk and no lock on the front door.

Liked: It's a great place to meet people, with good facilities, maybe a bit grubby, but certainly not the worst. It can be a bit noisy, but New Orleans isn't the place for peace and quiet. The only other issue is that there are a number of longer term people staying there, who seem to have forgotten it's a hostel and not their private home, so don't take into account fellow hostel stayers opinions, which can make things awkward.

Liked: It is a great Hostel and they offer every other day some special things like local food or drinks. You even can enjoy New Orleans nightlife in the hostel!The people there are great and everything is like the hole city a "big easy"
