Liked: Good: Free internet, pool, good kitchen and good atmosphere. Right next to a tram that goes into the downtown area for $1.25 a time.Bad: Communual bathrooms. One room for toilets, one for showers. If you want to walk to the center then it takes about half an hour. Quite far from Greyhound/Amtrack

Liked: A little far from downtown but well served by a streetcar which took only 10 mins to the French Quarter. Had great facilities with pool and open kitchen. Great social atmosphere with music on most nights.

Liked: Great atmosphere at this hostel, great fun drinking out the back and meeting people.

Disliked: Mozies in the rooms but I suppose that can't really be helped too much. A few cockroaches in the bathrooms. Would have preferred lockers to have been in the rooms and more of them...seem quite limited. Location is in the suburbs but easy to get into town by Canal Street Car.

Liked: If you don`t care about cleanliness and search a cheap stay to meet some other traveller, it`ll be the perfekt place.The ticks is cutted and ugly, you should bring your own sleep-inlet.

Liked: Very dirty sleeping accommodations and rooms, sheets and pillowcases covered in hair. The location is poor, but very close to trolly which takes you directly down to French Quarter. Unfortunately New Orleans has very few centrally located Hostels. The overall atmosphere was lively and interactive, with several different areas for socializing.

Liked: location is superb! 1 min walk to the street car stop which takes you into the french quarter! hostel is 5 mins away from a shop which sells booze and food, mcdonalds, burger king for when ya hungova! amenties of the hostel is good. they have cool places to chill and meet other travellers! even has a pool!

Liked: This was an AMAZING hostel, completely made my stay in New Orleans 10 times better, met some great people there and the whole place was fabulously colourful, lively and friendly as well as being safe, clean and having helpful staff. Can not recommend enough! :)

Liked: Where do I start? This is a cool place. Definitely a place to stay if you want to meet interesting people whether they are travelers or work there. Such a mellow 'camp' vibe at this place. Loved the decor as well, you will too unless you don't like 'clutter' ( treasure), multicolored walls, and art( some bad,some good) a plenty. The place was so cool that it didn't bug me that my private room was really a former/ current tool shed and the door was a screen covered with black plastic and locked with a tiny hook that could easily be kicked/pushed open. But I still felt safe. Definitely use the lockers they provide, just in case.
