Liked: The garden is beautiful, like a little oasis!! Its such a nice place to chill out and relax. The staff are so chilled out, and will drive you to local attractions for a reasonable price.

Disliked: The furniture is a bit worn and smelly. They allow children to stay which resulted in one very sleepless night when it screamed all night long!!

Liked: Cheap, but you get everything what you need. Best value for the price. And the atosphere - priceless.

Disliked: Price, location, atmosphere, possibility to meet people all over the world - you are not closed in tour room, different from motel staying.

Liked: Clean and accomodating. A great group of people there and we even enjoyed an acoustic solo performance of "Jesus Christ Super Star" in the garden by one of their regular traveling guests. We enjoyed staying so much we stopped again on our way back north out of the keys!

Liked: Excelent hostel with a lot of facilities, well decorated and with a lot of character.

Disliked: It is a bit far from Miami but the hostel itself is in Florida City, in there it has an excelent location. When we stayed there the parking was full and we had to leave the car on the other street (not on the parking street just in front of the hostel).

Liked: Fourth time here, down from VT. Always enjoy this" urban oasis" while visiting the Everglades. Very Relaxing atmosphere, great staff that really makes you feel welcome! Highly Recommended!

Liked: Everything!! It is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff and volunteers are amazing people who make you feel welcome and at home. The tours are fantastic - on my tour with Sean we came so close to an alligator!! It has been the highlight of my travels so far and I wish I could have stayed longer!! I can't wait to go back again!

Liked: I loved everything about this place... I just kept extending my stay!! originally me and my boyfriend were only staying for 3 nights its ended up being 6 and we would of stayed longer only we had a flight to catch.... the staff are really friendly and will help you anyway they can... the water fall pool in the garden is awesome and there is an amazing feeling of freedon here and you meet so many amazing people..... would i stay here again??????????? YES!!!!!! in a heart beat............

Liked: Best hostel I stayed in, in a months travel around the states. Super friendly, amazing garden, great location for exploring the Everglades and the Florida Keys.

Disliked: The surrounding area is much easier explored if you have a car, although that said I managed on buses without too much trouble

Liked: The relaxing atmosphere of the hostel. The outdoor area is fantastic! The free use of computers.

Disliked: The main purpose of my trip to this hostel was go on a tour to the everglades. However when I arrived, i was disappointed to find that they were no longer running the full day tours. This wasn't stated on the website either. Unless you rent a car, it is hard to get to the everglades.

Liked: It truly offered a relaxing atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the property was awesome, the lush grounds, the natural pool, the gazebo, and the outside shower made this stay a unique, delightful experience. I will be going back again and again.

Liked: hammocks, the waterfall pool, open air hookah room, very friendly staff!

Disliked: you should take care of your breakfast, because the all-you-can-eat pancakes and coffee is really all you can eat

Liked: Hammocks, swings, snugs, yoga, really friendly staff, waterfall. Great place to stay

Disliked: Mosquitos. Lots of them. Rec'd about 20-25 bites each in the 2 nights we were there and it runied our stay.

Liked: Friendly staff, beautiful outdoor area great for meeting people and just sitting drinking all night.

Disliked: Not a good location if you want to visit Miami. Great for seeing the Keys or the Everglades though. Old building, but colourful and great people give it a lot of character.

Liked: Really friendly place with excellent facilities. Just off Interstate 1, right on the bus route from Miami and a route down to the Keys. Communal evening meals if you want to partake. Very good kitchen which is quite different from most other US hostels to which I've been. Great all day Everglades trip direct from the hostel
