Liked: The location is amazing for a hostel, the staff were friendly and the common area was a great place to meet people. Highly recommend staying at Jazz if you are in Miami.

Liked: Ît was the most clean hostel that I ever been in the world, the guys that clean all the day are very good. The hospitality of the hostel is amazing probably because the most part of the staff are from Brazil!It was really good!!!I enjoyed a lot my days there!

Liked: There was one lady in reception, with black curly hair who was not friendly and quite unhelpful. Everything else was really good.

Liked: It's a great place to meet people. The location is fantastic. It's in South Beach and walking distance to everything. They have decent $3 dinners and cheap drinks (albeit cheap liquor so a hangover is inevitable). That place is a constant party. Don't expect to get much sleep.The hostel is somewhat poorly run in terms of room and people allocations. The staff could use an upgrade. They are really unfriendly at times, choosing to ignore you rather than acknowledging the fact that you're waiting and will be with you in a moment. I would recommend this place, but don't expect much help/information from the staff. If you get room 105 (which is an 8 person dorm), you won't sleep. It's right next to the lobby where the music is constantly blasting and people are hanging out.

Liked: We stayed here for NYE and it was BRILLIANT! We stayed in a 12 bed dorm too which meant we got to meet loads of peeps... the place is pretty lively anyway with a bar downstairs and they were selling vodka drinks for $1 each!! U have to pay for internet but thats cool, the location is amazing too, literaly 2 mins walk from South Beach!If you come for NYE then book FAR in advance as it goes up to about $50 per night if u book near the day

Liked: This was my first hostel experience and everybody was really friendly. Staff and fellow travelers. Staff is really friendly and always in for fun, and so are the other travelers. Rooms and hallways are cleaned daily and everything is in good condition. Free wifi is working, nice free breakfast and great tips and tours from the hostel. Great place to stay!

Liked: Nice place, plenty of activities, friendly staff and guests. Free breakfast (pancakes) and diner for 3 dollars, sweet deal!Not the place though if you're looking for a quiet stay, although the rooms are pretty quiet!Much and much better hostel than Santa Barbara where we stayed two nights as well.have Fun.

Liked: it was my first time in a hostel and all I can say is that I had a great time, it is a safe place and I loved Joel's hotcakes every morning !!!! He is a hardworking and easygoind man, Sonia was really nice to us !! We surely visit Miami Jazz Hostel again !!!

Liked: Really a nice place to meet other travellers/visitors. The room was good, clean beds en airconditioning working. The hostel prepares meals which you can buy for 3 dollars, they can arrange trips for you to everglades, etc. Also they keep you updated where the best place are to go out on south beach for a particular night. I would defenitely stay there again, and recommend it to others if you want a cheap place to stay.

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay at the Jazz on South Beach Hostel...the atmosphere has been fabolous - I guess it has never been that easy to meet people, have an awesome and fun time and feel more than welcome than at the Jazz on SoBe! Everyone has been open-minded and friendly...Its a place to enjoy yourself, party with people who are there for the same reasons and make some new friends!!!!

Liked: Very secure and clean. Hostel is located in a residential area at the southern end of South Beach (safe walking possible to ocean drive an the South Beach attractions). Other hostels/ hotels in South Beach are more central. Beach is very close (2 Blocks away). Double room is very nice (TV, fridge, safe-deposit). Breakfast is poor for the price of the hostel. Kitchen is too small but clean. Internet is available but very expensive.

Liked: The location is amazing and the staff are more than ready to always help plan your stay in Miami.. There is always something happening day and night and its just a great place on South Beach... LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
