We are located only one block away from a subway stop and major bus linesto Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Hollywood, as well as one block away from one of LA’s major commercial stretches.

For the urban minded backpacker, Normandie Mid Town Hotel is the place to be. Located merely 5 minutes from Downtown LA, 15 minutes from Beverly Hills, UCLA, Hollywood, and 30 minutes from the Santa Monica.

No other hostel in LA is as accessible as us to go so many places without renting a car.

Accommodation Information

All our rooms are en-suite and contain two double beds and a TV, and some contain a kitchen as well as a walk in closet. Two fully equipped kitchens on the ground floor ensure plenty of cooking space. And what could make a better dining area than a ball room, or a fully equipped restaurant setting?

Location Information

We are the youth hostel others claim to be in terms of Hollywood location. It is the perfect place for backpacker tourists to reach most of LA’s main attractions. With a metro subway station right across the street you can, for example, get to Universal Studios in 5 minutes, Downtown LA in 15 minutes and Korea Town in 10 minutes. Most Hollywood main attractions are within minimal walking distance. On the other hand, if you stay during the Oscars ceremony, you simply need to get close to one of our windows!

To enjoy all this, we require that you are a backpacker traveler in the touristic sense of the word, and have proof of travel and an international passport or a student ID to show upon check-in.
