Liked: this hostel is one of the best hostels in the US I have stayed in. the location is 100%, the staff and cleanliness of the place is great. i ended up staying 2 weeks longer than expected.

Liked: its location: it is just across the beach. The Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sufficient. A limousine takes you to Santa Monica every Thursday, for 20 Dollar, to have PARTY!!!

Liked: I meet some great people and the staff were really great after the ice was broken. The location couldn't have been better and I felt totally safe there being a female travelling on her own :) Highly recommended!

Liked: It's in a cool part of hermosa, right next to the beach with numerous clubs and restaurants right next door. However there were lots of thefts from this hostel. Security is awful, the back door is nearly always left wide open and numerous people had items stolen from them during their stay (including me). Everyone who works at the hostel is really cool, apart from the tall blonde german guy who everyone hates. He is the most miserable person I've met so far on my trip.

Liked: The amount of people in my room was only 4 which is better than other places ive stayed where there are alot more! its also in an awesome location really close to the beach and shops

Liked: I liked the location of the hostel. However the only thing that let this hostel down was one staff member. He was a german guy I think. Otherwise this hostel was one of the best I have stayed at.
