Liked: Great location in busy area 'on' the beach with a lot of bars and restaurants.A good place if you like to party. Despite the party atmosphere this did not have any influence on the night rest when we wanted to go for an 'early' sleep.

Liked: The staff was great. Also good suggestions and advices. Nothing to complain on this part. The location depending on what you expect from LA is awesome. Right on the beach, it was very nice. But if you want to visit Hollywood and other stuff, you should'nt stay there since it takes a really long time in public transportation to go (2 hours).

Liked: Location is the best, right on the beach and if your lucky your room will looking onto the beach and you will see the sun set and rise from your 4 dorm bunk

Liked: The owner (French lady) was extemely helpful and friendly. However, the guy working in the hostel in evening-/night-time was cocky and rude. Location is great if you either have a car or want to stay at Hermosa Beach only.Hostel felt very safe and the Hermosa Beach area generally was very pleasant. It was great to mingle with other travellers even though there are also people who live in the hostel permanently.

Liked: Very friendly, close to lots of good bars and a minutes stroll to the beach. Not as many activities on offer as some other hostels aroiund but definitely lots of fun.
