The King's Inn Bed and Breakfast, over one hundred years old, was originally the William F. Marshall House, built in 1888. The period rooms are large with high ceilings and stained glass with the finest amenities at affordable rates.

The King's Inn, is a large house with nine bedrooms and five and one half baths. the King's Inn includes such amenities as a front porch with a swing and rocking chairs, a back porch with table, umbrella and chairs, guest-use bicycles, a wisteria arbor in the backyard and side yard parking. There is even a backyard hot-cold shower.

The King's Inn is originally known as the William F. Marshall House and is backed with 117 years of downtown Lewes experience. The King's Inn provides a Victorian top-notch bed and breakfast amenities in charming downtown Lewes, Delaware. The innkeepers are Leon and Patricia (Pope) Rockett and they can provide you with interesting and historical accounts of downtown Lewes, DE - a combination that can't be beat!

Quiet, personal entertainment includes a jacuzzi for two, videos, cable TV and a stereo with classical, operatic and jazz collections. Each room is air conditioned and includes a ceiling fan. Rooms are reached by a beautiful staircase in the foyer or convenient back stairs. Beautiful hardwood floors treat your eyes and a delightful, plant-filled sunroom is where we serve our full breakfast, Swedish coffee and a hot cinnamon bread are featured as well as witberries in season.

Activities outside the King's Inn include boating, fresh and salt water fishing, including deep-sea charters leaving directly from Lewes Harbor, crabbing, bicycling, antiquing, wind-surfing and golf. The greater Lewes-Rehoboth area also includes one of the largest groups of outlet malls in the United States, all sales tax-free shopping. You have the option of swinging on the front porch swing, shooting pool, taking a jacuzzi, or leaving the Inn for a day of fishing, crabbing, shopping, site seeing or just some old fashion fun!

Advance deposit of one day's rate is required to hold your room, and is refunable with up to seven day's notice before arrival, less a $10.00 service charge if we are unable to book the cancelled dates. The balance of payment in cash, check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express) is due upon arrival.
Extra persons are $10.00 per person and $10.00 for dogs. $150.00 for weekend consisting of Friday and Saturday. $350.00 per week.
