Liked: Great location, very clean, large kitchen and generally cool people staying there.

Disliked: The staff sometimes seemed a bit grumpy, and it can be a bit noisy in the morning with the traffic nearby, but if you're a heavy sleeper like I am you shouldn't have any problems.

Liked: very nice, I like to stay in Hostelling International Waikiki honolulu , if could be not only for 7 night but can be 10 night if possible. It is very helpfull and the place very close with supermarket , mall and store, pharmacy. wonderfull....!!!

Disliked: telephone coin ! better use telephone card , and hostell sell the telephone card , so easy for us fm another country to make call with our family.

Liked: I liked that the location was right next to the beach and walking distance to shopping, the aqarium, and the zoo.

Disliked: I slept next to the front door in my room and heard loud noises when I was trying to sleep

Disliked: The Hostel its very close to the waikiki beach, but its early in the morning so noisy and loud that you couldnt sleep in. The safety its ok but the lockers are to small for your luggage. I think the other site from hawaii its better and not so much touristic than in waikiki

Disliked: mostly disappointed by the staff, who dont really seem to be helpfull ...... they seem to have the " dont care " attitude...

Disliked: too small lockers, no shelfs/cupboards for baggage, one bathroom for 8 people is too less!, no plugs for computers/mobile phones in lockers, no plugs at back patio

Liked: The location was great, and I met a lot of great people here. For the most part the staff was really helpful, it was clean and they offered a lot of different kinds of organized trips so it was easy to join a group.

Liked: was great location. love the staff so friendly and helpfull. have a whole bunch of new friends from all over the world and dont want to go would love to stay if i didnt have to work in new york but will defenitly look for them all over when i travell america. thank you so much for everythingspecial thanks to angel who helped me with all my tours and was always helpful and friendly :)

Liked: The atmosphere wasn't very good. Couldn't drink in the dorm. The beds were uncomfortable and they were covered in plastic...? Don´t understand why this hostel gets 100% on the website all the time?

Liked: I had an amazing experience at Hostelling International - Waikiki! The location is amazing -- it's a minute from Waikiki beach, close to upscale shopping, around the corner from a small grocery store, and you can hear the ocean at night. The kitchen is clean and fully stocked (bring your own food, obviously). Not a party hostel, which was fine for me. The people are friendly, check-in and check-out are no problem. $3/night surcharge if you aren't a member. Bathrooms and rooms are very clean. The 6-bed dorms are split into two 3-bed rooms that share a (clean, lovely) bathroom, which was nice. In addition to the advertised free stuff, they have shelves for free stuff in the rooms and I borrowed an awesome sundress... clearly the people who stay here have great taste in clothes! The owner and all the desk people were so friendly and there was a wonderful variety of guests. I would love to stay here again!
