Liked: I have stayed @ Deauville before. I always have a great tim there.The location is perfect. Deauville is a block away from the beach. They are about a 15 minute bus ride from downtown

Liked: The staff was very helpful. Place is very silent if it is something that you are looking for.

Disliked: Too silent and calm. When I do backpacking I expect more fun in the hostel. But it's me. For someone else it might be advantage.

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful, many facilities like pool, kitchen, tv and even weights for workout.

Disliked: too far away from the center, there's nothing in this area, too quiet for me! but the hostel itself was nice.

Liked: The place is clean, quiet and close to the beach.

Disliked: This is definitely not the right place, if you want to party. The hostel itself is very quiet and it is 3 miles away from Las Olas Blvd. with all the bars and nightclubs. The manager - while very friendly - seams to want to organize everything - try to count all the informations signs on the hostel property. ;)

Liked: Very quiet, so I was able to have a good night's sleep (my top priority after a 24 hour trip), & Jeff, the manager, was friendly & welcoming & made it all so easy & relaxing. It's right near the beach, & with supermarket & eating facilities nearby, so very conveniently situated for a traveller. I had a great room with a comfortable bed & its own bathroom & kitchen, & consider it excellent value.

Liked: Friendly mixed crowd of guests. Staff were very helpful and knowledgable.

Disliked: Location, it's a bit out of town. If you don't have a car getting around is not easy.

Liked: I found Deauville Hostel safe, fun, and just a wonderful place to spend a week relaxing. The beach is two minutes away, the bus system is very navigable, and Jeff, the manager, was very hospitable and solicitous. It was fun meeting a lot of international visitors, and the long term residents were quick to help make you feel comfortable!

Liked: Clean rooms, very friendly staff, comfortable beds, nice beach just round the corner, safety

Disliked: Nothing that I dislike. A larger common room with plugs and tables convenient for laptops accessible overnight would be a great improvement. Also free tea and coffee would be fine.

Liked: I was upgraded to an efficiency room - with a full kitchen that I didn't use, and a huge king size bed that was the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hostel. The room looked recently painted and smelled fresh. It was raining, so I didn't use the pool or check out the beach. When I arrived in the early evening in the rain, the office was locked and I didn't have a phone, so I had to try to track down the manager. He was very friendly when I found him, but maybe they need a buzzer or intercom next to the office.

Liked: There were a lot of international travelers, and most everyone who was staying at the hostel was very friendly, so it's a good place to meet interesting people. The beach was only about a 3 block walk which was very nice. The rooms are ok, just a standard room, but the bathrooms have been recently remodeled which was nice. There is a kitchen and lounge room with lockers, but it closes at 11pm and doesn't reopen until the morning. 11pm is also the quiet hour, which the property managers are quite adamant about. Besides that and the fact that sometimes it can be difficult to track down the managers (it's best to just call their phone to get a hold of them), it was a very pleasent experience.

Liked: Staff really helpful, even organised a free bbq on Sunday. Really close to the beach and supermarket (7 Eleven, Walgreen's, Winn Dixie). Pretty big dorms, but could use some maintenance (especially bathrooms and kitchens). All and all a pretty quiet place for people that look for a peaceful vacation...

Liked: Very good place to stay at, also a very friendly staff. A little bit away from the center of the town, but it´s easy to get to the "town" by buses. It´s worth the money to stay there. It´s very close to the sea and to supermarket, library and 7-eleven.

Liked: The staff were well informed and knew who we were upon arrival. They were also extremely friendly and even offered us some beers when they found out what we were drinking. The bathroom and kitchen were in need of a lot of work. There was a long term resident in our dorm and it really felt like we were guests in his room, although we were paying just the same as him. His things took up the whole room, the fridge, and the wardrobe and desk. The hostel is right on the beach, but a good walk from most restaurants and bars. Fine for a stopover.

Liked: I had an excellent stay at Deauville Crewhouse. The dorms of four people have their own kitchen, living room and bathroom so it's more like an apartment. There's also a common room and a swimming pool. It's only a few blocks from the beach but a bit far from the more busy part of the beach where the restaurants and bars are. There's a local bus that goes there though. The staff is very nice and helpful. This is a lovely quiet place for relaxation.

Liked: it was near the beach, cheap. Good for just one night, passing thru. The people who stayed there tho, were more like residence. Its a hostel, but old creepy men rent out the rooms for extended periods of time. I kept to my room and didnt go out after dark.

Liked: Quiet and Serene. I was given a "tour" of the facilicy. I loved the "courtyard" appeal. The other guests were quite respectful of cleanliness and quiet time after 10pm. And it was walking distance to the Water Taxi, 7 Eleven, Shooters and Charley's Crab with a Bus Stop across the street. Walking distance to Beach.
