Liked: of course it's aurora and peaceful environment!! staffs are very nice. if you are interested in outdoor activity, bring plenty of money^*^

Disliked: if you stay at dorms, be aware that it's a bit noisy but if you stay up late, it wouldn't be a big problem cause you will be in deep sleep!

Liked: It was great for Aurora veiwing,

Disliked: The set up of this property is terrible, with dorm room on top floor with family only access to their rooms through the dorm, no privacy, and really noisey as family main space is on the middle floor and dorm top floor and guest area and bathrooms on bottom floor, it really could be arranged better for everyone.

Liked: We are so glad to stay with this hostel. We made lots friends there. The owners are so friendly and helpful. It just felt stay at home. I definitely will recommend this hostel to all travels.

Liked: Owners of this lodge are very friendly and nice! We could relax at this lodge. They helped us to watch the aurora boreales as well.

Liked: Nice location to see northern lights. The lady who runs the hostel is very friendly. She was the first alaska native I met in my trip.

Liked: Typical Alaskan Atmosphere in and around the Ranch, nice family who runs the place and provides local information. The Chandalar Ranch is located in a Valley, if you are looking for a place to explore nature it is perfect. If you are looking for a place to stay to visit Fairbanks, it is a little remote.
