"We only stayed one night, but it looked like good fun. The other people seemed to be having a good time together. The dog of one of the workers is adorable. The staff are great, friendly, and very helpful."

About Eugene Whiteaker International Hostels
Located in the heart of the Whiteaker District in Eugene Oregon, the hostel was built in 1930, upgraded in the mid-60's and newly remodeled in the spring of 2006.
There are many great sights to see and things to do within the area and around the town. Within walking distance is the Willamette River which offers a biking and pedestrian path. Visit the Owens Rose Garden along the way. The Skinner's Butte Park has nice hiking and a great view of Eugene.
Enjoy the arts and crafts at the Saturday Market. Listen to live music and try some tasty food from the various vendors. Check out the farmers market which offers locally grown produce and herbs.
Explore the first & last Friday art walks and get a taste of the unique creativity here in Eugene.
Within easy driving distance are golfing and kayaking.
Great day trips include a visit to Willamette Valley wineries, swimming and fishing in the McKenzie River and the sand dunes on the Oregon coast. Many different hiking trails with waterfalls, rivers, scenic lakes and hot springs.
