Customer reviewStayed there for two nights. First night (Sat/Sun) couldn't sleep at all, as there was life music performed nearby and it seemed like happening in the room itself. The breakfast in the restaurant was delicious (cereals, toast w creamcheese/butter/jelly, coffee, tea, milk). The hostel itself is close to the Sears/Willis tower, close to subway, on a crowded street. Felt very safe. |

Rebecca ScaddingI was upgraded to an apartment with an ensuite which was very nice. Sociable area to meet people because the main common room was quite small. Quite far to walk into town but it didn't really matter. Yummy breakfast, met some great people and really enjoyed my stay! Very clean, really helpful lady on reception was a great help with what I wanted to do around the city. I loved Chicago. |

Customer reviewGreat location! The breakfast bouncer proved to be a bit much so early in the morning but I suppose he has his reasons. The women's toilet stalls also are a bit tight if you're taller than 5'2". |

Customer reviewNot much good here, staff were not helpful at all. Also they did not have a working WIFI connection and they made no attempt to fix over our 4 night stay, some guests said it had been not working for over a week. Was extremly difficult to get access to the one public computer at the hostel. Breakfast was very crowded and had to queue each morning. |

Customer reviewpeople who stayed are good but this has no relation with the property. The staff are good too, and helpful. |

Customer reviewIt was cheap, which was nice, Chicago can be an expensive place and the last thing we wanted to do was spend a ton of money on accommodations when we weren't going to be there except to sleep. The location really isn't that fantastic...it's only perks are that it's right next to the Blue Line, which easily connects you to the Loop, and it's about a 5 block walk from Union Station...but other than that, there are lengthy travel times by El to get to Wrigleyville, Lincoln Park, the beaches, etc. It's located in Greektown, which has great food but not a bunch else. Otherwise, it served its purpose fine--the beds were comfortable, our room and the bathrooms were clean, the common area looked pretty nice, we just never used it because we were always out early and back late. The wifi didn't work (a complaint I heard from others as well), but there is a computer in the common room. Overalll, I think they can lower their prices a bit. Also, a bit of advice...the city of Chicago sales tax is extremely high, so the price you think you will be paying will rise significantly upon arrival to the hostel (they don't really tell you this). So the "super low" price you get might turn out to be not so super low...not the hostel's fault obviously, but it's a good thing to know. |
