Liked: Nice to be slightly out of the city but close enough that it's just a quick trip. - best of both worlds. Friendly staff and very safe and secure building. The breakfast is without a doubt the best I've had at a hostel.

Disliked: The female bathrooms/showers on our floor weren't working. Because the dorms don't have their own bathrooms this meant we had to go to the next floor up to use the showers and bathrooms. Perhaps this was just temporary.

Liked: Very nice staff, clean rooms and great facilities!

Disliked: Walls were a little thin, so if there were more people staying, there would have been a lot of noise especially on the 1st floor!

Liked: One of the best hostels i've stayed in. Everything is to a high standard, down to the smallest details.

Disliked: Nothing really.

Liked: Excellent breakfast on offer.

Disliked: Incredibly warm inside compared to outside, uncomfortably so. People (including me) were getting ill because of the overuse of the heating.

Liked: This hostel is really clean and very comfortable. Everything seems to have been catered for and the staff are very helpful. It is not in the centre so you need to get the metro but the neighbourhood in which it is located is really lovely and we enjoyed the best of both

Disliked: The bathrrom was really far away from our room which was a bit of a pain.

Liked: Recent renovations are great! Lots of free stuff like wifi, PCs, and breakfast.

Disliked: Feels weird being out of the city, but in the end it's better I think.

Liked: This is a superb hostel, located in the best area of Chicago. Its interior is well designed and laid out, its facilities are second to none and the breakfasts are orgasmic! In short, this is a wonderful place to stay - even better than a hotel.

Disliked: There are no negative aspects whatsoever.

Liked: This hostel was in an excellent area - close to shops and the amazing (and free!) Lincoln Park Zoo.

Disliked: The bathrooms were absolutely DISGUSTING!!!!! There was only one bathroom per floor, and the floors were huge - it took us at least two minutes to walk from our room on one side to the bathrooms. The bathrooms were very dirty. We had a private room with a toilet and sink and found the toilet hardly ever flushed. The wifi was only accessible from the lobby. Our key cards decided not to work two days into our four day stay.

Liked: Free breakfast was good, the common room was very clean and wide. Bed was very comfortable. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Shower was broken during our stay. I had to go upstair to take a shower. Rooms are generally not super-tidy.

Liked: The hostel presents itself very accurately on the website. The location is wonderful and the style of the hostel is great

Liked: Wow. The biggest hostel I've ever come across. But their size does not mean that they skimp on quality. Fantasic hostel.

Liked: Nice patio area and lounge with tv. Free computers and internet is amazing it really makes a difference when your on a budget! Nice breakfast too.

Disliked: Small padlocks dont fit the lockers.

Liked: really nice place to stay, big kitchen and nice break fast in the morning, pub crawl on thursday and free bbq on friday and saturday, free netbook and internet connexion , verry friendly staff. 1h walk to the main street but only 20min with public transport. definitivly the place to stay in chicago

Liked: Staff was superb and the place was immaculate. The hostel was really a great stay.

Disliked: Couldn't believe that a hostel that large could have such limited restrooms. Depending on what time the cleaning was going on, there could have been as little as one bathroom per gender available for over a hundred.

Liked: Very clean and very safe.'would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Chicago. Staff very friendly and helpful. Real value for money. It's not right close the main part of Chicago buts it about 20mins with the metro and walking. On the good side pleanty of wicked little jazz bars to go see with live music. I would personal recommend the Blues Bar round the corner. Would stay again if I where to return to Chicago.

Liked: It's a very clean and modern place. The atmosphere was great, people there are quiet friendly and always get to help you in all your questions. I loved that there were so many different things to do and enjoy like their daily plans for hanging out as the way I could get a guitar for lend free or even the piano! If you get there alone or with friends, be sure you will have a great stay without any worries. That's actually hard to find.

Liked: It was very clean. Always a lot to do! Staff was very knowledgable about the attractions. WIFI and laptops available 24/7. I will def stay here again.

Disliked: The air conditioning was not cool enough! It was on but blowing out hot air.
