Liked: I liked that they provided blanckets and a towel for the travelers. The room was very clean and it felt very safe and comfortable.

Liked: This is a very wholesome hostel, not your typical party hostel. The place is really new, tons of space and very clean, pristine, almost hospital like, but not really off putting. When i read reviews prior to choosing a hostel somebody mentioned that the beds were better here than back at home. Also true in my case! the ceilings are reaally high (5 mts aprox) so you dont feel that crowded in an 8 people room. They obviously put a lot of effort into having activities everyday, and the free tour of downtown was pretty good. Tom Judge = gentleman extraordinaire! There are no pub crawls or club nights out, but then again, Chicago doesn't seem to be that well known for that, as Cali is. All in all, its a great place, has a games room, library, pretty good breakfast (3 diff cereals, bagels, tea, juice). I recommend it quite a bit, even though I look hostels that offer a better night life experience.

Liked: Some of the staff were very helpful and there's an information desk run by volunteers. We didn't however realsie that children would be staying there so that was a little off putting. There's lots of school groups, Brownies and Guides and there is no alcohol allowed in the hostel unlike every other one we've stayed at. Excellent location.

Liked: This place is the best place to stay when coming to Chicago! It is perfectly located to sub-stations, bus stations or however you'll arrive at Chicago. Also you really get a lot for your money! Free linen, towels and breakfast is definitely a plus! Also, I wasn't expecting at all to have a "private" shower, toilet and sink which I only had to share with my other roommates. During my stay the room was never fully occupied so it was really a great stay! Also you meet great people here, there's free wifi and the hostel has lots of cheaper offerings for most of the sights in Chicago so you'll also save money when sight-seeing. I can 100% recommend this hostel and am really happy I came here!

Liked: One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Location is amazing, although you are still a 20 min metro ride from the bars (no bars downtown). Breakfast is one of best free hostel breakfasts I've ever had. Breakfast should be offered after 9:30am though, tough to wake up for :)

Liked: Huge hostel. Very modern. Big rooms, very spacious. Lots of facilities on offer. Has a tour desk to help you with booking thing. Good location. Felt safe and secure. Good breakfast. Maybe because the hostel is so big the staff did not seem as personal as other hostels.
