Liked: Outstanding location, right in the heart of Down town Chicago. A breeze to get to from Midway Airport, catch the Orange line to Washington/Library station & literally the hostel is around the corner from the train station. The Hostel does put on walking tours & Pub crawls as well as other themed nights, although they do not operate everyday, especially Sundays & Mondays. The Free Breakfast which is only served till 10am, is very basic which is a high carborhydrate based wheat breakfast only (No fresh fruit other than red apples, no hot foot, no yoghurt, no decent museli), but is certainly a additional you dont always get at hostel. The Condition of the hostel was very clean & very modern with all room 's & elevators accessed only via Key cards.

Disliked: So i really dont mind sharing with lots of people, but when the room is advertised as 10 dorm room & i count 13 beds in room 306 where i stayed, then maybe this hostel should be a little more honest aboout the number of occupants in the room. Also worth noting that on the third floor the bathroom has been recently renovated & is in a very good condition , although only two toilets & two showers for what must be at least 40 Guys (Men) on that floor (sorry ladie's i don't know the Bathroom situation for you)....... this is poor planning i have to say. I witnessed quite a line up for the showers in the morning & no mens showers located on the second or Forthy floors i noticed either. shower in the evening, would be my recommendation.

Liked: Very helpful staff (they have an employee whose sole purpose is to provide information and give advice) and very clean, breakfast was good and they have a lot of discounts and offers...I haven't seen any other hostel to offer free tours of the city and tips for cheap food and fun.

Liked: The common and social areas of this hostel are absolutely fantastic and of a really high quality. It's very easy to meet people to hang out with, especially if you participate in one of the volunteer run activities. The breakfast was really good as well. The dorms were nice and spacious with lockers big enough to handle a full backpack. The hostel is easy to find and the location is fantastic, right next to Grant park and within easy walking distance of most everything you'd want to see.

Liked: The rooms are clean and the whole hostel is good organized. The facilities are cool pooltable, tv-room, computer room, breakfast(!)-room aso. The staff was very helpfull and friendly! Good located, and all in all a nice property!

Disliked: The shower was pretty(!!!) dirty. A little bit filthy. Didn't match the cleanliness of the rest of the hostel. Thats something u should work on in the future! You need to swipe your key card everywhere. Its annoying to swipe your card on the front door, the door to the elevators, in the elevators and finally for your room!

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, a great location in the centre of everything, a calendar of cool upcoming events in Baltimore. More features than my brain has room for.

Disliked: While I stayed here there weren't many other travellers, so I didn't get to do as much talking as I would have liked. The computers in the basement had no Anti-Virus or Firewall protection, which made me a bit uncomfortable using them.

Liked: That it was in a common area.. Easy to find and central to most things!

Disliked: The roadworks going on at the moment which obviously you could do nothing about.

Liked: Hotel-like entrance and huge hostel with massive rooms, with lots of events provided. We went on a bar crawl which was cool and a great way to meet other people travelling. Breakfast was simple but included. Excellent location, definitely recommended!

Disliked: Bathroom was not well cleaned when we arrived, but this was the day after a music festival and by the time we left, the problem was dealt with

Liked: Amazing location, the staff were so helpful. There was such a variety of planned events by the hostel you got to meet so many new people.

Disliked: None!

Liked: It was a very friendly place, with loads of recommendations and activities (the free architectural tour of the Loop was brilliant). The accommodation was spacious, and all the facilities and rooms on the second floor were fantastic. I met some lovely people over breakfast (which was great) as well.
