Liked: Easy to find, helpful staff, decent lounge & kitchen

Disliked: Dorm room large and impersonal felt like hospital, very cold had to use 3 blankets. Noise travels thought room above were going to come through the roof.

Liked: cheap price!! actually it is little bit far from Niagara falls, we can go easily there by bus, though. so it doesn't matter.

Disliked: nothing in the city. haha. When i arrived buffalo, there was nothing to do. Even though i didn't find about attraction or something like this. this city is so calm. i recommend to go canada area for sightseeing.

Liked: There are many things that completely amaze me living in this hostel. I am a traveler, the city is quite, but the people are amaziiiiiiiing. 1. the front desk person is very helpful and very friendly 2. the location is very strategic (for a hostel standard, it is very very good place) 3. it ia very clean. 4. mostly, hostels don't provide towel. In this hostel, towel is provided. AWESOME 5. There are much information for visitors places to visit. 6. safety is no 1. This hostel has a very incredible safety. I feel safe. I will completely recommend this hostel to my friends who wants to live in Buffalo. BRAVO

Disliked: 1. the bed is too narrow in 8 bed dorm. 2. many restroom will be great :)

Liked: Very clean and great location downtown.

Disliked: There is some street noise of the subway and music at night. That is because the hostel is located on the Main St of Buffalo. I'd recommend bringing earplugs to get a good nights sleep.

Liked: Close to transport

Disliked: I was there on thankgiving day... As we're many... And the hostel knew nothing would be open. It still had no activities planned... I think every single person aske about places to eat... As there was nothing around.... The tv didn't work.... Which meant that couldn't even watch football game... Was a poor choice of dates on my part... But hostel could have had activities planned to compensate for simple travelers like myself!

Liked: The staffs are nice. The lounge on 2ed floor is wonderful, very cozy and relax!! Quiet in the hostel. Location is excellent!!

Disliked: The open hour of front desk is too short. However the hostel will notice this by sending a mail.

Liked: Helpfull and friendly staff, very safe and secure place, high standard for cleanliness, comfortable lounge, fully equiped kitchen etc. Hostel is on the great spot for Niagara Falls visitors.

Disliked: Unfortunatelly this hostel is located in the middle of very quiet city.

Liked: easy to find, good staff, had a lift, multiple common areas, good sized rooms, comfy beds, able to check in/out even when office closed

Disliked: breakfast not provided (Dunkin Donuts is nearby though) front desk open for limited hours

Liked: Is in great location, clean with good lounge, kitchen, wifi on offer and a secure building, is quiet too for recovering from a bigger city like NY. Public transport access to Niagara Falls (US side) and is close to the theatre district of Buffalo

Disliked: It is a little too quiet as everyone goes to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls so I was in a 6 bed dorm with only 2 people in it (including me) and one left at 4am. Again not necessarily something to complain about as nice to have some privacy and not have to rush for the bathroom every morning.

Liked: Near the city's center.

Disliked: far for the train station. A little dirty. No information about transportation and if you don't speak english ,ohhhh bad luck!

Liked: Location near Metro Rail and bus station. Clean, pleasant place to be. Very helpful staff. Good wifi access, nice rooms.

Disliked: Rooms clean but some junk accumulating under floor heaters (area unreachable by standard vacuum, need to use a vacuum crevice tool to clean out). No bug problem but to ensure it remains that way the hostel needs to be careful not to keep anything extraneous in rooms (unused window screens were in the corner in my room, also the kitchen unnecessarily kept many empty coffee containers along the walls). Since the washing and dryer are coin operated, to make sure there's sufficient quarters available at the front desk so people can give dollar bills and get change to do their laundry.

Liked: It was just fantastic. I met some great travellers here. It is bang next to the metro station, It is super-clean, and it's lot lots of great amenities. A real home from home.

Liked: The woman running it was very nice - the place was clean throughout - I especially appreciated the free good coffee and availability of food in the kitchen. EXCELLENT hostel.

Disliked: I didn't dislike anything - it was even convenient to a bus to niagara falls.

Liked: Decent enough beds and wifi. The place is pretty clean and has all the basic facilities you would require.

Disliked: Downtown Buffalo is not the safest placer to be at night. This is general local knowledge, though personally my partner and myself did not encounter any issues but did feel unsafe at night. The major issue was when a staff member booked in a druken homeless person who proceeded to take his clothes off and lay in my bed, then rifle through my bag and steel a few items before a girl asked the staff to throw him out. Bad judgement on the side of the staff for letting this guy in, kind of spolit our stay a little. Buffalo is a pretty boring place once you get past the architecture and the Falls. Don't stay too long.

Liked: Great hostel. Clean and big rooms. Good facilities and very friendly staff.

Disliked: Check in is from 5pm which is a bit late and no staff around between 10am and 5pm.

Liked: This hostel has a great location, plenty of information on hand about what to do and see, helpful staff and good lounge, kitchen and basement/tv room.

Disliked: There's nothing to dislike about this place- I've stayed here before and it's good; it's a pity Buffalo doesn't attract more people to make it a more fun hostel but that's not the fault of the hostel. Check it out sometime, folks, and Galleries, Museums and architectural wonders of the city. There's an amazing live music scene in Buffalo too, on your doorstep.
