Liked: compared to other hostels in other US cities, this hostel is expensive for what you get/location. the decoration is very old fashioned and it has a musty atmosphere, but it is adequate for a few nights stay.

Liked: The staff was very nice but the accommodation is a bit far from the city centre, even if the subway is close! This Inn is a good solution to be in Boston without spending too much money.

Liked: Good value for little money. We booked 3 bed-rooms, but we got rooms with each 2 double beds, which were too small for our male friends. Bathrooms were more or less clean, but room doors did not seem very safe. Nice atmosphere, located in a residential area but also close to a lot of pubs. By tram 20 min to the city center. Free parking!

Liked: the room was really hot and had no oxygen in it. the place is really smelly and at the dorms. you have no security locker and you share the room, so your property is not safe. the only nice thing was wireless internet. it was old, smelly and hot.

Liked: Cheap! The building was a bit run down, but at its age and that price that's to be expected. I was in a room with just two other people, and liked that they had small rooms with only a few people (and big beds!) No real common area for hanging out so if you're interested in meeting people this isn't the best place, but if you just want an easy cheap place to crash while you do Boston this is perfect. Location was handy for the Green Line.

Liked: It was great! I loved that it had parking. Close to the T (transit system)-made it easy to get into Boston. I had a great time.

Liked: This place is a good find for the price you're paying. It's got character and is a little shabby, but I'd take that any day over an overpriced, banal, chain hotel. Can't been the organ in the hallway either.

Liked: The Farrington Inn was basic but very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Handy to the train service. Very nice place to stay.
