Liked: Susie was so friendly and approachable, the building is so beautiful and historic and the dining table is a wonderful place to eat and chat with a host of lovely visitors, we had such a wonderful time there!

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Staff were all pretty friendly, helped carry my luggage up the stairs.

Liked: The character of the building, it's old. Only hostel I could find in Atlanta.

Disliked: It doesn't look like it has been cleaned for about twenty years. The bathrooms are incredibly old and grubby. The beds are old and lump, the kitchen is tiny. Real shame that some money hasn't been invested in it as it has real potential but i have found the same poor quality in all the hostels I have stayed in in North America. European hostels really are so much better.

Liked: Friendly staff, large comfortable dining and lounge areas, wifi in some rooms.

Disliked: No hand soap at the sinks, no bathmats (puddles on the bathroom floor), broken lock on one bathroom door.

Liked: It's an allright common room you can relax in.

Disliked: I had to wait one hour outside before someone would let me in, even though the reception should have been open. The bathroom was disgusting with bugs crawling on the floor, a broken shower and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a month. The dorm room was not good at all. The beds were uncomfortable and the floor was made of wood so everytime someone took a step, it would make a noise. The kitchen was small and only equipted with the most basic things - I didn't felt like cooking in there.

Liked: Relaxed, value for money, except for some funky smell in the shower clean, and the owners give you more information about Cozumel than you could ever wish for. All in all highly recommended!

Disliked: It's quite a walk from the pier/main square, which also means your out of the tourist area. It could be a plus or a minus, and for me it was a mixed blessing.

Disliked: They don't provide locks for the lockers, you have to go out and buy one. And breakfast doesn't start until 8am.

Liked: The family room with the pool table and porch were very nice.

Disliked: Floors were a little creaky in the bedroom, which kept me awake a little. Also, I didn't notice that the office was closed from Noon to 5:00 PM. I arrived around 2:00 PM, and had to walk around until 5:00 PM.

Liked: Friendly staff. Large rooms.

Disliked: Have to pay extra for wifi. Some people live there and share room with visitors. Rather quiet and not many visitors, not a hostel for a fun time.

Liked: I liked the location since it was centrally located with a MARTA Station a few blocks away and a supermarket around the corner. It was wiuthin walking distance of many of the downtown attractions (CNN, Coca-Cola, etc.). It appeared that each room had its own ensuite bathroom.

Disliked: 1. The sheets and pillow given out have seen better days. I suggest that they be replaced. 2. There were only a few lockers available for luggage. I suggest each room have lockers that can accommodate luggage. 3. Invest in replacing binds especially on the doors to washrooms and fixing/replacing faucets. In the ensuite bathroom I used, the handle to the hot water on the sink faucet was broken so the only water we could get was cold water (the night temperatures fell to the 40's at night) and ther shade on the door covering a full height window has partially missing vanes (I had to use a towel to cover the glass to ensure privacy). 4. The doors to the rooms were notr locked. I suggext that they provide combination door locks on all bedrooms. 5. When I checked in I did not receive a towel. Luckily I had a small hand towel with me. 6. Not a big deal but I was charged more be night then what was posted. I was told that the prices on HolelBookers did not include tax. 7. I stayed at the hostel at the end of October and I was very cold at night. The first night the small blanket was not enough. I did ask and receive a second blanket.

Liked: The atmosphere was great, and that was thanks in no small part to the lady behind the desk. The night I arrived, I had trouble with my card and couldn't pay straight away or draw money out of an ATM. I was freaking out a bit, but she was comforting, let me stay the night regardless, and even offered to lend me a few dollars to get food. Then once i'd returned from several failed ATMs, she introduced me to one or two of the people who were already staying there as we were from similar areas. And from there I made some great friends. Long and short of it is that she's a great host.

Disliked: The bathrooms could be improved a little, but near enough everything you needed was there.

Liked: The location for me was perfect. There was nothing 'seedy' about the area as I saw mentioned in older reviews.

Disliked: The shower situation wasn't inviting and when you travel there's nothing like a good place to shower.The mattresses were old and would be better to update and cover with plastic.

Liked: A niece old house with homely atmosphere. Central located walking distance from the Marta Train transport . and excellent restaurants and cafes . fore the budget consensus trawler. to the more expensive restaurants. The place is my home away from home, ind Atlanta Georgia .

Disliked: Noting - 99 % good

Liked: It felt very comfortable there, and the city is easily accessible. Susie was lovely and very helpful.

Disliked: It's a bit cheap to charge for wifi, especially when the signal is sketchy at best. The guy on duty wasn't much friendly at all.

Liked: We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but stayed for one more because we liked it so much! The British owner was so friendly and welcoming and it was a great place to chill out - there was a supermarket 2minutes walk away and there was no curfew, it was a really sociable place where everyone got to know each other. BRILLIANT!

Disliked: ...that we couldn't stay longer :(

Liked: Air conditioning, common area, kitchen.

Disliked: Makes you pay for wifi and LINES! Yes there is a $1.00 linen fee. Not expensive but unnecessary in my opinion. We got there at 11:45 and we couldnt check in till 5pm for some reason (thats there hours of operation) even though the owner was there. Only hostel in Atlanta so unfortunatly youll have to overpay for this place with very odd check-in hours.
