Liked: nice accommodation and staff really nice and helpful. good place to meet people!

Disliked: just a bit far out of the centre of town but not really a major factor to be honest.

Liked: Nearby inexpensive Publix supermarket and Cuban restaurant. Free internet, but only some electrical outlets are the modern type that accept 3 prong plugs. Neighborhood is not bad.

Disliked: Very bare bones hostel and poorly designed. The bunkbeds are built so that even a short person can't sit on their bed without bumping their head: in the dozen hostels I've stayed in, never seen that. Air conditioner in room shut off halfway through the night (either designed that way or so noisy someone would shut it off), so I would wake up too early being warm to sleep and dehydrated. Only 4 spoons in the drawer, 4 glasses, 4 bowls, though tons of plates for the whole hostel --- why not just go to Goodwill and get more of bowls and lots of silverware. No toilet paper in 2 bathrooms when I first arrived, and no soap in the bathrooms at all. I went to the kitchen to wash my hands with soap each time I needed to, but it creeped me out that likely most guests had poop-related diseases on their hands due to lack of soap.

Liked: Free Breakfast (muffins + coffee)

Disliked: It's been the most expensive (~35$), yet worst hostel on our whole trip. You have have to pay for WiFi, Pool- Table, no Laundry facilities, heavily used interieur, not really "clean". Guest were all in all okay, but there were some really creepy guys among them! Sound of Air Condition kept kept me awake whole night. For half the price ... okay, but not for that one. i definately DONT recommend this hostel!

Liked: It was in a good area, just 4 blocks from the subway. It was clean and had a lovely homely feel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only residents had access to the building

Disliked: The kitchen was a bit small and there were no locks on the bedroom doors, but there were lockers available on a first come basis.

Liked: The place as a lot of character. It's far from perfect but cheap and the staff his frendly. I enjoyed using the kitchen and the living room is rather cool. There is Wifi (5Dollars for the stay) and a computer available (1Dollars for 30 min).

Liked: Attention please read carefully,DO NOT STAY HERE, this place is a totall dump i got bitten by bed bugs and there was dirt and filth everywhere,the building is falling apart the owners especially the old man are so rude and they look down on travelers, they are just all about money they grab what they can and they dont put a cent back into the building, Avoid this place like plague, its the worst place i have ever stayed in 100% HORRIBLE, the worst of the worst, DO NOT STAY HERE.

Liked: Large spaces, free muffins and coffee, friendly staff, bus right outside the door. Not so nice was the out-of-order toilet in my room that I couldn't use during my stay, the terrible matrasses and the fact that you have to pay $5 for the wireless connection, and $1 for the linen and blancket. Normally this is free in 90% of the hostels.

Liked: The cost was very low. The staff was helpful when they were there but some of the time they were not there.This place was dirty and it stunk, literally. The air conditioning and ventilation were inadequate.
