Liked: character of the place- nice comfortable homey feel to it,

Disliked: it was very quiet when i was there but may have been because it was mid-week

Liked: The staff was very friendly and the house itself was a beautiful house. You could walk to a central subway station and there was a food store close by. The kitchen had a lot of supplies and was very useful.

Disliked: They kept charging you extra for everything. For linen, storing your bags, wi-fi and so on. That really turned me off. Also a cockroach in the bathroom is not the funniest thing to wake up to..

Liked: It is a cosy place, with large airy rooms....and air conditioned which is a big respite from the heat!

Disliked: It is a good 20 minutes walk from the Marta Underground station and there are extra taxes charged which are not mentioned in the booking.

Liked: quite a nice house

Disliked: got there at 8am in the morning and was told check in wasn't till 5. So had to kill 9 hours after arriving from the nightbus feeling horrible and in need of a shower before they let me in. Its the only hostel i've come across in 9 months of travelling where they charge you to store your luggage after you check out. And they charge for wifi.

Liked: Staff was friendly, also for the second night I had room for 8 only for myself.

Disliked: Those signs everywhere: don't eat and drink in your rooms, don't put your feet on coach, don't use this/that. Breakfast = coffee and toast, wifi is for $5, leaving bags there for few hours after the check-out was also 5.

Liked: it's warm environment make you feels like at home, and we can meet friends around the world there.

Disliked: the office is close after 5 pm when I arrive, so that i have wait for a while for the receptionist to open the door. which is not mentioned when i do the booking that better to check in during office hour.

Liked: - atmosphere & character of the residence (I love the old style furnishings!) - friendliness of staff & travellers alike - it really was a great place to meet people - close to MARTA & supermarket & Krispy Kreme (!!) - free lockers, vending machine available

Disliked: - staff weren't all that helpful when things weren't going according to plan - your not allowed to stay in the common areas after check-out, you must leave the building - rooms were not secure/ lockable (but lockers available) - no modern powerpoints in the rooms, only in bathrooms - reception was closed 12noon to 5pm when many travellers arrived, they had to wait outside in the heat - because it's mid-town there are many street people asking for money - breakfast was 2 pieces of toast, fruit spread available - didn't mind paying $5 for wifi but staff weren't all that forthcoming about returning the linen deposit, I saw a few travellers leave without getting it back

Liked: Great place to meet people. Had a great time. There are large rooms and balcineies which are great. Good location for metro and buses.

Disliked: This hostel likes to take advantage of being the only hostel in the area. The price is relatively high. If you want anything above the basic bed you will have to pay extra. (Sheets, Towel, Wifi, Luggage storage etc)

Liked: Great atmosphere. Nice beds.

Disliked: Vague checkout times: 3 different times were advertised throughout the hostel. In the night it is very quiet.

Liked: its an old bullied with a lot going for it the location is the key for this hostel. ITs nice and clan, the staff makes sure of that.

Disliked: nothing great house great people great place all in all one of the best placers i have every stayed at.

Liked: Good price-quality ratio. Staff is friendly, and for a hostel the place is clean enough. Location is smack in the center, but plenty of homeless people around. they are not dangerous though.

Disliked: Many notes saying things like ´no feet on the couch´ gave me an unwelcome feeling, even though the staff is very friendly. Many rules. Strange US breakfast. And the beds were not extremely comfortable.

Liked: It is more of a home. i met from really lovely people, and the host for verynice and polite.

Disliked: Not very neat toilet.

Liked: Quite good location. Close to a Publix store.

Disliked: Bad direction on their hostelbookerpage, put some landmarks there like the fox thatre and/or the Publix- and walgreensstore. My booking from HB hadn't even been noticed by the hostel. This was not however any problem since there weren't many travellers staying there. Cold room. No blanket given, just if you paid for linen. Wifi should be free!

Liked: Nice location despite the homeless people in the surroundings. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel is clean and the facilities work fine.

Disliked: Many homeless people in the region.

Liked: dirty, smoking people all over, nasty stinks bed is junk, tower too old even to use, no breakfast, windows even opens at night because of wind

Disliked: staffs are smoking at the door when i got there, smoking people all night around, hard to sleep because of these dogs who smoke- nasty stink, waste of money, better stay at a non smoking hotel room, no breakfast whatever, not even a cup of water, if you want the worst experience whatsoever, go for this place - for worst staying experience in a hostel? it's definately two tumbs up!!!!

Liked: There was a heater in every room, the staff provided linens, and it was near a train station.

Disliked: There was no soap for the bathroom.

Liked: Perfect place to stay if you want to save money, 4 blocks from Martha station (that goes directly to the airport), nice area, friendly staff, hot water!

Disliked: Internet is NOT free (3dlls), poor breakfast and you have to pay 1dll for linen.

Liked: nothing special to mention

Disliked: filthy restrooms, beds were not up to the mark, wi-fi was charged, not sufficient power points for laptops etc. unavailability of calling cards. Due to earlier experience in youth hostel in Seattle i preferred youth hostel this time too but my experience was not good.
