Liked: Arquitetura ampla com espaços ao ar livre.

Disliked: Barulho até altas horas da madrugada no pátio que chegavam aos quartos mesmo distantes.

Liked: The help desk is the only positive point in this place.

Disliked: No private bathrooms. Far way from Punta del Este. Furniture is very old. Some tourist are so rude. The WiFi doesnt work properly. The breakfast is poor.

Liked: the patio with bbq facilities upstairs

Disliked: the showers were very ineffective and the rooms were too warm because there are no ventilation for air if the doors are closed at night

Liked: The place is very beautiful and charming.

Disliked: Some persons of the staff shouldn´t work there. In a hostel you must have goodwill with the customers.

Liked: It looks god from te outside and in Maldonado it has a good location, but for punta del este not!

Disliked: Showers and toilets are very dirty, staff isn´t very helpfull, the booking wasn´t confirmed in the hostel, a lot of noise untill 2 -3 AM so not a lot of sleep.

Liked: Internet very good connection and good TV area. Breakfast and some of the showers very average. Reasonbly quiet except for the noise of the staff voices in the mornings.

Liked: We booked a private room; at arrival we had to make your own bed, towels were no included. In 2 days, they never cleaned the shared bathroom, forgot about the room. However, the propery is nice and safe.

Liked: The hostel was clean and staff was friendly.We booked this because of the fair price. With bus to PdE is about 15-20 minsWalking to the beach is about half an hour the closest.

Liked: For anyone looking for a hostel to stay while partying in Punta or La Barra, this is not the place. It is just too far away (20 and 40 min respectively by bus) as it is located in Maldonado and not Punta del Este. The good thing about the place is that it is rather calm and that cheaper restaurants (still good) than in Punta are just around the corner. The thing I found really poor was the showers - low pressure (would it have been any lower, it would not suffice to wash your hands even), bathroom without light, no hot water at times. I was told that these were temporary problems, but then again how can I check that...?On the whole, if you are OK with the bus rides to Punta and La Barra, this is alright value for money.

Liked: This was a great place to stay! Easy to get to and from places since it's less than a block from a bus stop. very helpful staff and a great atmosphere with lots of open spaces to relax. I for sure recommend this hostel to anyone going to Punta de Este!

Liked: Very charming, clean, and nice facilities. About 30 minutes from the Punta beaches by bus (14 pesos each way = about 50 US cents) or 15 minutes by taxi (about 240 pesos = about $10 USD). Big lockers in the rooms and a lovely common area (flat-screen TV!). If you come in anytime other than summer, however, request extra blankets and bring layers- the rooms are completely unheated and quite chilly. But a great experience overall!

Liked: beautiful, beautiful facilities and really nice staff, breakfast, etc. Only downside is the location, but there's a bus stop next to the hostel that goes right downtown and is very cheap.
