Liked: The staff is great, very helpful and inviting. If you want to kick back and relax for a bit this is the place to come. Out of the busy part of town but still within reach of everything. The beach is only a few minutes away.

Liked: The hostel was clean, great house dog. Nice neighbourhood. Good kitchen. Helpful ebough staff.

Disliked: No, repeat, no atmosphere. Nice enough owners but not really warm, did not make me feel very welcome. I dont think they like running a hostel at all. Long walk to anywhere.

Liked: This place is like your home away from home. It was such a great group of people when I stayed there, so welcoming, open and generous. I could not imagine a better place to stay in Punta Del Este and you can be sure I will be staying here again. I really didn't want to leave...

Disliked: Nothing, it is not far to walk into town or to the beach, there are plenty of supermarket options for food or anything else you may need during your stay.

Liked: This hostel is in a beautiful tranquil location, away from the main strip. We stayed in a lovely private room with seating outside. The owners of the hostel were so friendly, they made our time in Punte del Este special. The perfect place to go to relax.

Liked: nice location in residential area of Punta, beach is 10 minute walk, shops are 10 minute walk, you can rent cycles and go everywhere, the owner is great very helpful and friendly, plus they have a nice dog

Liked: Rodrigo was an awesome host, great breakfast and got a free upgrade to ensuite twin room. Great atmosphere, and close to the beach. Generally really friendly vibe, recommend it highly.

Disliked: Slight damp problem in the room, and bikes for hire werent in great nick...

Liked: This place was fantastic - a real getaway for those tired of the big city scene. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, and the kitchen is extremely clean and well equipped. The hosts were amazing, they even provided a traditional BBQ on our last night which was the best we have ever tasted. All in all, this is THE place to stay when in Punta del Este. Everything is a short, beautiful walk away, including the biggest supermarket we have ever seen.

Liked: It was very close to the beach and to the place where you can rent the bikes. The B&B is very secure. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Liked: Rodriguo's generous help with “what to do” in his home town and area is only surpassed by his wife, Ale's warmth and hospitality. Lovely breakfasts. The house has a “lived-in” feel to it. If you're up for a hostal that is more like a homestay, this is for you. We hired a car for a day and explored North … it was great.

Disliked: Decor and fittings as bit tired.

Liked: Best hostel/B&B in south America so far! Best breakfast as well!! Great location; one of the nicest neighborhood and close to the beach. The two hosts are extremely friendly and there is always a great atmosphere! I ended up staying 10 days instead of 2 originally!

Liked: The staff are amazing and extremely helpful. The barbeque's were really cheap and awesome food.

Disliked: Uruguay is expensive compared to the rest of South America. It was a bit over my budget but worth the money.

Liked: Rodrigo and Ale were very hospitable and were always available to chat when we needed something. Awesome Dog "Hush"! The asado's were very nice and great value - nobody leaves hungry. The location is a nice walk to the beach (not far at all!)

Liked: Beautiful quiet accommodation, amazing hosts, great breakfast, we all had an incredible communal bbq the night we stayed. Hosts go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable but do so in a non-intrusive manner. Can't rate this place highly enough!!

Disliked: Location is not right in the middle of town but that appealled to us. Only 800m easy walk to beach or 800m easy walk to mall with atm & large supermarket.

Liked: The Owner, Rodrigo, is a Very Very nice guy...He is very friendly and willing to help the guests..I strongly recommend it.
