Liked: The hostel is only a bus-ride down the main road to the centre of town and also the the bus terminal, which isnt expensive. We didnt see the streets of pocitos with shops and nightlife that were supposed to be nearby. Its a safe area and the hostel is clean and has a nice lounge area inside and outside to hang out in.

Disliked: The bathroom is pretty hard to have a shower in with a tiny shower and nowhere to put you clothes.

Liked: Staff were all lovely dealt with Joaquin the one night we stayed and he really went out of his way to help us get a taxi to the bus terminal to make sure we got our bus on time. Wish we could've stayed longer. Small hostel but really friendly vibe, good part of Montevideo and supermarket close by.

Disliked: Lockers a bit too small to putyour main bag in overnight, but fine for just storing valuables

Liked: the property does have quite a lot of character is close to a supermarket and cash points.

Disliked: it was very very dirty and the property was unfinished. staff not very friendly.

Liked: First of all, thanks for all of the staff that they were so helpful and friendly and they did the best like our friends... The location is ok, you can take a bus to go somewhere easily and the city is not so big to explore on foot also. Clean, hot water 24 hours. If you like 15 min walking distance, you can find clubs.

Disliked: nothing. All good...

Liked: This was one of the best hostels that I have ever stayed at! Nacho and his friends were great! he made me feel at home the minute that I walked in the door. Sipping mate and swapping stories together by the fireplace were the highlights. I ended up staying an extra day and plan to return. Great Hostel!!!!

Disliked: It was a bit cold at night so during the winter maybe a portable heater would be great. Other than that, it was perfect!

Liked: Safety of area. Great super market just a block away. Nice patio out back. TV with movies. Breakfast supplied. Attentive and friendly staff. Really clean.

Disliked: Some street noise if room next to road.

Liked: Peaceful and relaxed atmosphere in a quite small hostel. The hostel was nice and clean even if it was full the weekend when we stayed there and thats not very commun. The staff in the hostel was helpful and they even gave me a book that I found in the hostel when I didnt have any book to swop with.

Disliked: A bigger breakfast table would be useful when the hostel is full booked.

Liked: The neighborhood is nice, has good restaurants (not cheap) and it's easy to find fresh food like fruits. It also looks generally safe, from my experience at walking at night. There's also a good number of ATM's and exchange services around. Hostel staff is friendly, speak good english and are tolerant to broken spanish . The beds and linen were pretty good.

Disliked: Breakfast was very very simple.

Liked: Small and cosy. Easy to socialize. Friendly staff. Dont forget to ask for Yerba Mate in the morning :). Near to the beach. And only 10 minutes to old town with bus.

Liked: I've stayed in better hostels than this one worldwide. You can stay there, but not the best hostel in Montevideo. The kitchen smells bad sometimes and the hostel is not so clean. Small rooms. Poor breakefast.

Liked: There is no aircon which means that it is noisy and buggy at night. I got really badly bitten by both mosquitoes and bed bugs, despite spraying the bed with copious amounts of Raid.One night the gas ran out so there were no cooking facilities or hot water.

Liked: Away from the centre, close to the beautiful Parque Rodo and Rambla. The hostel is not big, so you don´t dissapear in the crowd :) the atmosphere is really nice, the staff is great.
