Accommodation Information

Our hostel was built keeping the design of the XIX (19th) century; it combines the historical architecture with a modern recycling.

We offer:

- Private Apartments and En-suite Dorms with TV (only in high categories)
- Lounge with TV/DVD room
- Excursions and tourist info (free walking tour to historical centres on Sundays)
- Excellent and very inexpensive home-made meals
- We organize group meals and many other activities in the hostel to have 100% fun!
- Transfer service

New Years Package 2010 (4 nights - 28/12-01/01/2010) we only accept 4 days package, prior confirmed reservation, and a full prepayment is needed in order to warranty the booking, after booking the Hostel will contact you for the prepayment details
Bookings for New Year must be for the whole period of the package, any booking that breaks into the New Year's dates will be automatically cancelled and the deposit amount not refunded and we are going to contact you about the payment from the whole package.

Location Information

'Che Lagarto Hostel' is located at the entrance of the old town " Ciudad Vieja", where you will find everything you can imagine; pubs, night clubs, restaurants, shops, museums, the Cathedral of Montevideo and the "Port Market" with music, local art and the excellent typical food.
