‘La punta rocosa’ in La Pedrera is in a privileged place for whales sighting, especially certain species that go through the same route to reach Australia. This common period is mainly from July to November. In this area, the three most important episodes will happen: Ballena Franca (Eubalaena australis) life, mating, giving birth and the first care offered to whales calf.
