Liked: Good location.. a very easy walk from the bus and the dock and to the old part of town. Its a cheap and simple property, nothing stunning but you go there for the beauty of the town, not the hostel. It's a cheap place to crash and dump your stuff, which is all you need.

Disliked: Bikes were for hire but they advertise that they are free. Pretty dingy bathrooms and rooms but again, it's a beautiful town..the hostel doesn't really matter.

Liked: this was ok priced, central hostel. there was nothing to complain about really except the lack of toilets!!!

Disliked: only 3 toilets for the whole hostel was really terrible in the morning!!!

Liked: location is really nice. liked the courtyard!!

Disliked: bathroom and kitchen were not really clean and the dorms quite small and very hot at night.

Liked: Location is very central and prices are ok. If you don't want much more than a place to sleep, it's ok, but i wouldn't want to stay there longer than one or two nights.

Disliked: Not a lot of bathrooms, so there are often lines... (but there was construcition-work in progress, so hopefully they build some more bathrooms). There were no windows in our dorm.

Liked: It is in a good postition close the main shopping street but also not far from the historcal area. It is also only a few minutes walk from the port and the bus station.

Disliked: Their bikes to hire could do with some oil and a general service. If you are someone who is very sensitive to the cold, you may not like the draftiness of Hostel Espanol.

Liked: This place was friendly and cozy. It's in a great part of town close to the bus station and the historic downtown. It's simple and clean but you couldn't really ask for more.

Disliked: It's pretty rustic

Disliked: Initially I felt uncomfortable with the dorm doors being curtains, but it seemed safe and everyone was quiet. Showers did not have a lot of hot water in them

Liked: It has a good location, close to the busstation and the city centre. You get a towel with a soap, even in dorms.

Disliked: Breakfast is not included and the hostel is really basic but fine.

Liked: It was clean, we get new towels everyday. The location was great, near to barrio historico. The showers were clean, the staffwas friendly and good speak a little bit english. Don't belief all the negative reactions on this site, it is a great hostel!! The hammocks in the plaza are great!

Disliked: The bicycles aren't ok, but you can rent them somewhere else.

Liked: Good location although staff do not speak english when asked they will always try and help.

Disliked: Can get a little noisy if people are outside at night time.

Liked: Big social areas inside and outside. Family feel to the hostel. You get a towel and soap which isnt common for most hostels.

Disliked: Bathrooms bit old and grotty, difficult to assess if they were clean or not.

Liked: Great location.

Disliked: We thought we reserved a twin dorm, but they don't even have a twin dorm. So we ended up in a room with 6. Besides that it was okay.

Liked: I liked the hostel location. It´s very close to the bus station.

Disliked: I didn´t like almost everything. The breakfast isn´t include on the price. They offer the service but they charge for it. Until them, no problem. However, it was the worst breakfast that I ever had. And the hostel staff isn´t friendly also.

Disliked: Only bad thing was had to pay extra for breakfast!
