Liked: Very nice people. Very close to the beach.

Disliked: Too much smoke coming from the barbecue, the patio is too small for it.

Liked: We loved La Casa de Teresa. We booked a double room and were given a garden apartment that had a bathroom and dining room it was lovely. The room was very clean and homely, the people that own the house are very nice and helpful but our favourite of all was the breakfast! Best we've eaten in the 5 weeks in South America.

Liked: Teresa was super nice and she was very helpful (even sacrificing her umbrella for us during a rain storm).

Disliked: The room was pretty small.

Liked: Teresa was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice and the place quiet. The internet is fast.

Disliked: The kitchen is not well equiped, although you get cutlery and plates when you ask. The whole place has no heaters, so it can get cold in the rooms.

Disliked: Shower facilities were somewhat interesting. No air con in room and no breakfast but apart from that the place was great.

Liked: Accomodation in Colonia is expensive, this hostel too. but decent clean rooms with cable TV and hot shower. only 3 rooms in total so quiet, ideal for couples or families. 20 minute walk to historic centre and bus station. minimarket 5 mins away. for the price charged, breakfast should be included. but the owner does give on request tea/coffee in mornings. kitchen poorly equipped. despite questionable value for money, we would recommend this hostel. a guaranteed good night's sleep

Liked: nice family who are welcoming. they are happy to do your laundry for no extra charge and give you any info etc. only a 3 room place so nice and quiet if thats what youre after. about 10 mins walk into town.

Liked: The room and bed were great, we even had a small back room with table and chairs. The kitchen is not really a kitchen, with just a stovetop with a kettle, and an oven but no pots or pans, or forks or knives. Great rooms, if you´re planning on eating out, and kind of far walk from the port and bus station (for Colonia - in a city it might seem like a short walk). Owner was very nice and helpful.

Liked: This was a great find. My girlfriend and I loved this place. After arriving late due to complications with Colonia Express, we found Teresa extremely helpful and accomodating. The rooms were very nice and homey.

Liked: Beautiful place, nice and cosy. Very friendly staff, quite close to the beach and a little walk to the town. Good place if you wanna have a relaxed stay in Colonia.

Liked: The owner Teresa was nice. The room has cable TV and a clean private bathroom. The kitchen doesn´t have any dishes or silverware, you have to borrow some.

Liked: Excellent location if you want quiet downtime after buenos aries. Lady that runs it is ever so helpful will lend you pots and pans for the kitchen. Microwave and fridge. Three blocks from the beach which is great. About 15 mins from the start of the old town which is a good walk with lots of chillout areas along the way. Take a bottle or two and relax on the old pier. All in all worth going to.

Liked: The hostel was extremely clean and comfortable with excellent ensuite bathroom and free internet. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and even ordered us pizza. We only wish we could have stayed there longer!

Liked: The couple who own it are lovely. The place is spotless. About a 10-15 min walk to town which is not a problem. Colonia feels like a safe place.
