Liked: Good location

Disliked: 1. No one waits for you there and doesn't open the door. So, only luckies penetrate there:) 2. I have never seen drunked owners of hostels that screem on their clients and make them go away... The Antony's home was exactly such a place! I was really shocked with the service.

Liked: Very spacious and pleasant apartment with a good location.

Disliked: The bed was quite uncomfortable, to the extent it affected my sleep a little.

Liked: I stayed here 3 days and was warmly welcomed by Alex, Alina and Eugenia. They all gave great advice and were informative about the places to see in Chisinau. Free breakfast and hot drinks were a nice touch too...would definitely stay here again. Don't forget to ask to see the bunker - a retro treat not to be missed!

Liked: Charming house with good location and helpful staff.

Disliked: Filthy bathrooms and rooms are not properly cleaned after previous guests. Kitchen was not welcoming either, dirty and not enough dishes and places to sit.

Liked: I stayed at Antony's home for 4 weeks in July and I had a perfect experience! Very personal and friendly owner and staff, genuine hostel atmosphere and great location in a peaceful area! I was the first one moving in to the newly constructed second floor, a huge wonderful studio with a huge balcony, cant be much better!

Disliked: I liked every piece of it!

Liked: Nice staff,very large spacious rooms.Proper kitchen/common room Hostel is undergoing renovations and has potential to be quite nice in future with further works.Decent sized towels and bed sheets provided

Liked: When we looked for hpstel, the place was clearly pointed. The room was clean and tidy. The staff off Hostel were friendy and had offered us very usefull information about city life a possibilities. We got a city map with decribed inportant points. No problem with paying. At the Hostel was 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets for 4 room. I have to say Perfect

Disliked: I suppose parking my car inside of block of fats but, unfornutely i have to leave my car close the main street. Sheeting isnt pepared when we come, but we must ask for that at the night hours.

Liked: Antonina was a lovely host and Antony's Home is a comfortable, and warm place to stay. Antonina provided us with maps and city information (in both English and Russian). The location is great and the house really incarnates the spirit of the city.

Disliked: There was nothing to dislike.

Liked: Antony's Home is a great combination of the Ukrainian tradition of renting a room out to travellers and a laid back hostel in a great location. Antonina shines through as a sweet, helpful individual despite her limited English, the kitchen is clean and stocked with food left from previous travellers, and the roomy, spacious apartment has a good Odessian feel. The extras - wifi and free coffee and tea, and a table by the entry way of books and magazines, make you feel like you're in a genuine hostel, which are few and far between in these parts.

Disliked: My bed was a fold-out couch, although I suppose it was comfortable. My pillow smelled a bit funny as well. Although I suppose both of these are problems you would likely encounter in your average homestay here, and for this price I can't complain too loudly. If you are arriving from the airport and are planning on organizing a taxi with an English-speaking agency, call Antony''s instead because 10 euros is much cheaper than most of the agencies in town will charge a foreigner. But if you have any Russian or bargaining skills whatsoever, you're better off negotiating your own fare to the property from the airport. Overall, however, I was quite impressed with Antony's Homestay.

Liked: It's a beautiful apartment, very well kept with high ceilings and large rooms. Everything was kept very clean, which was nice. Antonina is very friendly and is always upstairs. She doesn't speak a huge amount of English but don't worry, there is a nice guy named Vlad who can help when some detailed English is required...

Disliked: I think they need to update the directions on Hostelbookers.com because I was advised there was no way from the airport other than to take a taxi or use the hostel's pick up service. There is however a minibus (#117) that runs from the airport and stops just over a block from the hostel. I guess this annoyed me a little because the difference in cost was 100 UAH versus 2 UAH.

Liked: 6 in a 12 m2 room, slpt on a sofa.....no staff at nigth, was locked outside coz no enougth keys

Liked: Good location but their annexe is even better, located near the Opera/Theatre. Owner was very helpful and speaks some English.

Disliked: No computer available for guests - Wifi was free for those with their own though. Only one shower for the whole hostel, so at times you have a bit of a wait to use it.

Liked: Great Location and Kitchen. Rooms/Bathrooms were clean and tidy.

Disliked: The Shower could be a lot better. Lockers or some sort of safe should be invested in. Someone lost a considerable amount of money during our stay and it looked like it was another guest.
