Liked: Hostel dobrze położony w cichym miejscu, niedaleko centrum. na ulicy możliwość bezpłatnego zaparkowania samochodu. Bardzo miły recepcjonista mówiący po polsku.

Liked: Nice & interesting area, close to centre and convenient as regards airport transport. Shops & eating places nearby, of course.

Disliked: Slightly cramped, as in most Ukrainian hostels, but good atmosphere.

Liked: Easily found. Staff were friendly overall. Free wi-fi, tea and coffee. No problems storing baggage there on the day I was due to leave.

Disliked: Not the best or worst hostel you'll stay in. Isn't the cleanest and could do with extra toilets/showers. There's a cat in residence and I hate cats. If cats are your thing, you'll most probably love it.

Liked: The staff was great- getting out of bed in the middle of the night to help me get to the hostel when my train arrived an hour early and letting me nap that morning even though I wasn't officially checked in.

Disliked: There were no shower curtains for some reason, which left just the awkward little cubicle curtain. Not really a big problem, but it meant the shower was a bit colder than necessary (and all my clothes got wet).

Liked: Nice location, about 30 minute walk from the train station and very close to the main sights. I am a cat lover, so I adored the cat who lives in the hostel. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was a power outage my second night there (likely related to the cold spell in Europe now) and as soon as they realized they couldn't quickly fix it, they arranged for me to go to their sister hostel, Soviet Home Hostel, for the night.

Disliked: No real good common area other than the kitchen. They also didn't seem to have any bowls in the kitchen - lots of plates but no bowls. Also, the last shower had almost no water pressure.

Liked: Very friendly staff, nice cat, close to center. Nice kitchen, hot showers and quiet nights.

Disliked: Wifi was not available in my room (garden view room), but at least in the lobby which is a nice place to stay.

Liked: Very, very nice! Excellent atmosphere, very warm and welcoming, would have loved to stay longer. Note: there are major building works in the city at the moment and there are no trams from or to the train station. I walked there from the station and it's ok and not too difficult to find, but make sure you carefully note down directions. The actual entry (as more or less everywhere in Ukraine, it seems) is a bit hidden, so don't wander around looking for big hostel signs - just walk in to the building.

Disliked: nothing there are places in lviv that are more central, but I would definitively recommend this one!

Liked: The staff is amazing! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Very warm, homey atmosphere and close to everything. Located between the train station and downtown central Lviv which made it a wonderful place for us.

Liked: A cute, funky place with friendly and helpful hostesses. The resident cat, Buck, was a nice homey addition to the staff.

Disliked: Hot water heater didn't work right. Had to be restarted often and the staff seemed to be clueless about it.

Liked: Everything! Staff, cat, owner ( I`ve met only one of them), fast internet connection, central location (right next to main square), super-helpful info about clubs(!), very good matress. Hostel attracts positive people!

Disliked: The hostel is far from Italy so I can`t stop there each time I`m travelling) Was hard to reach top floor in the morning...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helped us sort out train tickets for our onward journey to Krakow as well as recommending places to visit and eat etc. Hostel was clean and warm (essential in the cold winter) and had great showers not to mention free tea and coffee. I would reccomend this place.

Disliked: Not a big fan of the cat and not really sure what the free breakfast was supposed to be?? didnt matter too much as there are great cafes in Lviv with good cheap breakfast options.

Liked: The environment was so great...I do really feel like staying at home,so comfortable...The moment I reached the hostel,I read the rules,it was so funny,and never be forget, the last rule: -- treat our cat like a backpacker...~~~Thanks Igor,Igor and Dana,you guys are so friendly,I wish I will have chance to visit you there again...This place is better than staying in a 5 stars hotel...I strongly recommanded to all...~~~Please make a stop there...

Liked: First of all, the staff are so nice! The three workers I got to meet in my two-days stay were equally friendly and helpful. The first thing you get when registering is a big broad smile and a cup of tea, instead of asking you for money in the first place. The location is great. Very close to old town and in a lively area with lots of nice places around. The premises are ok, though probably the common room is a bit small when in high season. There's always free tea. Atmosphere is relaxed and nice.

Disliked: Only two showers and a toilet is way too few when there are more than 5 guests, I'd say. The mattresses in the 10-bed dorm are quite bad, and hard as wood. My pillow smelt like cat pee (having a cat in the premises is cute, but perhaps not too hygienic). The first day of my stay, the free breakfast consisted solely on tea and a croissant. These issues are not the end of the world, but I think they should be improved. My average opinion is positive, though.
