Disliked: well, for that price you cant expect too much, so its totally worth it.

Liked: Very nice staff, they can give a lot of information about the city, the girls from reception are amazing, they speak ukrainian, russian, polish, english, german, I didn't found it in other hostels I have been to. Good prices, nice rooms, very clean, everything was perfect! Julia, thank you so much for a great time in Hostel Sun!

Liked: The price was excellent, welcome beer a nice addition, and the rooms were quite spacious and only 8 ppl split into more so 2 rooms is great.

Disliked: The cleanliness of the kitchen was disgusting, there was what seemed to be the leftovers of a soggy cigarette in the sink which when I asked other residents who had been there for two weeks "how long has the sink been dirty?" they replied "2 weeks". On our last day they did clean the sink. The cooking facilities were one great fast burner, but nearly nothing to cook with, like 1 crusty pot and pan. Staff are half nice and half very standoffish (different individuals I mean).

Liked: the location in the city

Disliked: There was no breakfast anymore - we just got some because we insisted because thats what we booked. They also didnt say that there is party every night until the morning in the patio of the hostel where ALL the rooms have there windows. Looked like this is more a disco than a hostel and not just at the week-ends. The rooms height is about 2m- so nothing for claustrophobics! when we came there we were attended by an absolutely drunk girl. the sheets were wet and smelled.

Liked: no bunk beds, clean and colorful room, great locals (but it depends on shift)

Disliked: maybe it is the Ukrainian mentality but how can the lady responsible for preparing breakfest just say she will not do it anymore (and management is quite ok wth it) and it was probably my first hostel that did not provide any city map

Liked: Big room for 5 people. Very nice location. And helpful people when I needed to add 1 person and 1 day to my order.

Disliked: Very poor Internet at 7 room. No free towels. Very cold water and very cold in the room.

Disliked: no one cares that doors of the dorms are often open, keys are lying unguarded at the reception, so you shouldn't leave worthy things at your room.

Liked: I was glad of permanent Internet Access and free breakfasts. Also shower and WC in the every room as well as 24 hour hot water were important facilities. In comparison with other hotels which I visited in Ukraine Hotel Sun was nice surprise. In my opinion it is the best hotel in Lviv at that price.

Disliked: I am satisfied with my staying.

Liked: A place to meet nice people. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. It was my birthday and they offered me flowers and a bottle of champagne! It is situated in the very center of Lviv. A place to recommend!

Disliked: Don't forget your earplugs!

Liked: Cheap and great location.

Disliked: The hotel is full of drunk people (especially Poles). There is no chance to sleep at night. We strongly do not recommend this hostel for people who want to be sober and rested. However, I would recommend people who likes a loud night of the event.

Liked: Nice place, although not completely finished in every nook and cranny. Ping pong table in the lounge-arcade is cool, beer is cheap. Rooms have a good atmosphere, the beds are comfy and the bathroom is great.

Disliked: Breakfast is a bit too simple. Staff is helpful, but not overly friendly.
