Liked: A quite nice place located about 30 min easy walking from Independence Square. Here is always you need for a small price.

Disliked: Inconvenient showers. Also you can spend about a hour on finding somebody of staff. But it wasn't a problem for me.

Liked: Hands down, the staff. Friendly, helpful, and nice to share a beer with. Clean bathrooms and dorms.

Liked: It's a really cosy hostel with a kind of home feeling. The staff were really friendy and helpful. It's in a quite street only 10 min walk from the train station and 15 to the city centre.

Disliked: The door locks were a bit tricky at times!

Liked: COOL PLACE AND VERY COSY . COOL OWNER AND MANAGER . THE HOSTEL IS A COMBINATION OF 2 BIG APPARTMENTS ON DIFFERENT FLOORS WHICH MAKES IT VERY FAMILIAR AND YOU REALLY FEEL AT HOME UNLIKE OTHER HOSTELS LOOKING LIKE SLEEPING FACTORIES ! CHECK IT OUT ! YOU WON'T REGRET IT IS CLOSE TO THE CENTER AND EVERYTHING YOU NEED LIKE SUPERMARKETS , BOOKING AGENCIES, BARS, RESTAURANTS...

Liked: Good Location (quite close to station). Relaxed atmosphere, helpful owner. 10-bed dorm was bright and spacious.

Disliked: Not suitable if you can't/don't like to climb stairs.

Liked: Best place to be in Kiev. Clean, spacious rooms, good facilities. The staff is friendly, giving a lot of information about the city and taking you out for a beer. I will stay there again if I'm back to Kiev.

Liked: the hostel had a very homey feel -- very comfortable and relaxed. the owner was also quite nice, quick with suggestions as to where to go for sightseeing and food/drink. because it was located away from the busier part of the city, it was also quiet.

Disliked: it was a bit of a walk from most of the "highlights" of kiev. at times it was also difficult to find a staff member when we needed something (toilet paper, taxi called, etc.).

Liked: It's close to the train station. Staff were friendly.

Disliked: Property is up five flights of stairs. It is about 20 - 30 minute walk to all of the major sites. The beds in the four bed dorm are ridiculously uncomfortable. It also looks like a storage room and staff were constantly coming in and out. Don't stay there stay in the big dorm room. The common area kitchen was never clean. The fourth floor facilities were a lot newer and nicer than the fifth floor. Only one staff member spoke English.

Liked: Honestly, this is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The location from the first point is not perfect as you need to walk around 10-15 minutes to the down town, but this area is so nice, so don't be disappointed with that! Would definitely stay again there!

Liked: The brasilian guy who runs it goes out of his way to be helpful and is very friendly. It is clean and very nice and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Thumps up.

Liked: Easy enough to get to from the train station but a bit of a walk to the centre (although managable). Good place to meet people with a good bar (Hospital Bar) 3mins walk away.
