Liked: This was more like staying at a friends house than in a hostel. The hostess was fantasic. Friendly, helpful, and kept the hostel in spotless condition. The location is excellent, and made getting around Kiev easy. I look forward to visiting there again!

Liked: First visit to Ukraine! Chose the hostel and I was right! Very clean, nice room with flowers, great beds, clean linen, tea and coffee is free! Nastia very well explained the map, always helped and was very polite with the customers! It was like at home! Very warm and nice! Thank you, I will definitely back to my wonderful "Really center" hostel

Liked: Nastia is the great person she is manage hostel and make you feel like at home, she all the time clean and communicate with custumers. Hostel is great itself and has good room and common space. i will be back. thank for everyone.!

Liked: Nothing.

Disliked: We've stayed in many hostels before, and they have generally been at least satisfactory. However, our experience of hostels in Ukraine has put us off of doing so in the future. We arrived at the Really Central hostel at around 6pm, in the pouring rain, after a long day travelling. Luckily we had brought directions with us because it was otherwise poorly sign posted. Once we had got into the building and got into the hostel, we were told that our room had been double booked, and that we would have to go to one of their sister hostels, City Centre Hostel. The staff must have known this beforehand, and could have notified us far in advance so we could have just gone to the other hostel, but they apparently did not feel the need to do so - the very first we heard of this is when we arrived. Moreover, there was no hint of an apology, and they almost made it seem like it was our fault. So off we went to City Centre Hostel, dragging our luggage along though the pouring rain on a 10 minute walk, which did not leave us best pleased. Once we arrived at the City Centre hostel, we found it to be much cleaner, the staff to be very friendly, and also a better location. However, there were no staff there at night, so there was no-one to tell people to quieten down, as people came and went at all hours of the night with little regard for others. After this, we booked into a hotel - stretched our budget a lot, but it helped us to enjoy our holiday much more than if we'd stayed in the hostel.

Liked: Not a party hostel, but a warm, welcoming and neat little appartment fairly near the city centre and right next to the metro, from which you can get anywhere. The staff were incredibly helpful and spoke perfect English, really making my stay an enjoyable one.

Liked: Absolutely wonderful. The staff were like friends, couldn't complain. For once, I actually fit in a bed length-wise. Very happy.
