Liked: Joanna runs a great hostel in the centre of the city and adds the personal touch by taking guests out to experience the Kiev nightlife. I would definitely recommend her hostel to everyone staying in Kiev.

Liked: Joanna and Leonid (staff) are really friendly and helpful people. I had a real nice time with them and they gave me some cool hints about Kiev. I can definetedly recommend this Hostel. Looking forward to my future stay! :)

Liked: Great place, Joanna was always willing to help you out and had lots of tips. At night she would take everyone out and show them good bars. During the day she would tell tell you what to see. Common room was nice with some couches, rooms were decent, small lockers for wallet but not large enough for laptops.

Liked: Great hostel. Easy going staff and owners. The place is fairly small so it's easy to meet other people. Perfect for sigle travelers!

Liked: Centrally located, very nice and helpful staff, a real chillout environment and good place to meet other travelers.

Liked: Nothing, 12 euro paid for 1 nignt is just the wasted money, I would sleep better train station for free.

Disliked: It is not a hostel. This is a flat of alcoholics from Poland. All the night they drink vodka (May be "Horilka" I did not check carefully) and cry in the kitchen (the next door with the room where people sleep). Stay away! It is a HELL!

Liked: Nice staff....Letka, Peter, and Nicola are cool. They took us out to some fun pubs/bars, and gave good advice and recommendations.

Disliked: Sometimes loud while trying to sleep at night.

Liked: You don't really feel that you stay at a hostel, it's more like you visit your old good friends! For now this hostel together with Carpe Noctem in Budapest are the best hostels I have ever stayed at! Many thanks to Joanna for taking us out and for the very delicious mulled wine made by her! Joanna, you are awesome!!!

Disliked: It is very addictive, so be careful!!! it's difficult to leave the hostel!!! :-)

Liked: Everything! The hostel is clean, comfy and well-equipped with good facilites and is in a great location for sightseeing, shopping, eating out, the metro etc, but the best thing of all about it is the people. There's a wonderful friendly atmosphere, it's really easy to meet people there and the owners are just amazing. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Liked: Small hostel - it s an aprtment of 3 rooms. 2 rooms total 12 beds. The third room should be the lounge but They put people on it. So...... overbooking hostel with more than 14 people and just one toilet !

Liked: Chill out hostel is a quality stay. Joanna is a star (v cute too), the hostess with the mostess and will show u some quality places in the city u can't find on ur own. €4 Steaks, can't go wrong. Exactly what u want from a hostel stay. Definitely recommend to make the most of Kiev in ur hostel.

Liked: Lidka, the girl who runs the hostel, is an absolute star. Every time you see her, she greets you with a friendly hello and a big smile. She is always asking guests about things they might like to do and took me out each of the 3 nights I was there. The small chillout room with the giant window is also really nice to relax in (especially in the heat) and there is a good selection of books to read.

Disliked: The shower and the water pressure in general. Other than that, I don't recall a free breakfast ever being mentioned... I would also humbly suggest that some detailed directions from the train station via metro be included - walking for 20-25 minutes in the heat with my backpack on was not a very pleasant experience. The directions also need to take into account which side of the train station you are on - it took a while before I could orient myself.

Liked: Jo is the person to save this place. She is the owner of the hostel, and without her my ratings and review would be a tad bit different! She will help you have fun each and every night, so be prepared. However, note that the beds have no mattresses, hence they are quite uncomfy. There are no sinks in the bathrooms, only in the toilet. Yet, I would still choose to Chill out in this place, than any other in Kiev!ps.: Ilonka's circles are great!
