Liked: It was a beautiful and warm place and I can't wait to go back. Staff is really helpful. Had very good time in Kiev. Quiet location and good night's sleep

Disliked: Hot and stuffy room with crammed bunk beds. Long queue for toilets (2) and 1 shower for 30+ beds in the morning. Free tea and coffee (no coffee was ever found) in a sparse big kitchen.

Liked: the location was excellent the hostel is clean and the staff was just the best ever I have stayed in hostels all over Ukraine and this is the hostel form now on IS THE PLACE FOR ME when i come back to Ukraine I will stay at this hostel The beds and dorms are nice the showers good nice big common room where there is free WiFi and internet terminal free of charge also the have tours I can recommend the AK 47 shooting tour what a bang that was :-)

Liked: Excellent location.

Disliked: There is only one shower available for guests so choosing when to get your shower is a strategic decision.

Liked: Very welcoming staff. Lots of activities. They have pub crawls every Wednesday and Saturday. I had really good time in Shooters. Also they organize tours to icbm base and shooting ak47. My room had aircondition in it. Its the cleanest hostel ever!

Liked: Good facilities, great location

Disliked: When I was there, Chernobyl was closed, and therefore the hostel was deserted. Owner offered to arrange Strategic Missile Base Tour, but asked an exorbitant amount of money, and was very unwilling to help out/advice me on alternatives. No tourist information available at all. Receptionists were helpful, but I kept feeling like an intruder all the time. They were in the common area all the time and very unwilling to be sociable. Also the rules (no food in any room but dorm) were unreasonably strict. All the necessities were there and good, but the place definately lacked character.

Disliked: Everything was good but the private dormitory for two persons was only hole without any window and more over the second person have to climb upstairs to the second part of the hole... Dormitory was ok.

Liked: Good location, no curfew.

Disliked: Free beer and vodka? How about forgetting the gimmicks and concentrating on making the hostel better by having a functional hot water shower or maybe two. Also the rooms are very crowded and the staff seemed to be irritated at the slightest problem. The toilets would need some renovating as well.

Liked: What can I say WOW FREE BEEEAAAR AND VOOOODKA when you check-in fantastic location to all the bars clubs and sites just out the door nice staff especially Nastia :-) when you are in Kiev this is it and I will def. be back !

Liked: Location was good and staff helped us to get train tickets

Disliked: Booked a double room and got a dorm room instead. Showers were cold even though we followed instructions to get warm water. I would not recommend this hostel if you want a private room but dorms aren't bad. Beds uncomfortable.

Liked: A top location right in the centre of town, a 2 min walk from the centre. Plenty of nice, cheap eateries and bars with an authentic Ukranian feel right on the doorstep. Hostel manager Bob was a hero. Full of good advice and top suggestions on where to go, accompanied by his incredibly generous hospitality (Copious vodka/Beer/Orange Squash) and witty banter.Myself and my tour thoroughly enjoyed our stay. - plenty to see/do and a cracking night life for those adventurous enough to sample it. Thankfully, this hostel provided us with the perfect platform to build a totally unforgettable Ukranian adventure. See you again in 2012!

Disliked: Should upgrade the toilet paper to Andrex.
