Liked: I loved the fact that there were only two beds in a room for a low price, plus a television, plus a fully operational kitchen, and a free washing machine. When I was there, I was, except for two days, the only person there. I stayed in a room by myself for a low price, a clean bathroom, and a tv. I highly recommend this property.

Disliked: It's kinda far from the center and you have to save up marshutka money every time to get home or get tot he metro which is about 2 grivny per way.

Disliked: very inappropriate place to stay specially for tourists.it is an apartment lived by grandmother,mother,granddaughter,her boyfriend. There is no sign or indication of it being a hostel. There is one shower,one toilet for 7 occupants. There is no internet fascilities,It is very very far from city and takes a long time to reach the city center.

Disliked: very remote and isolated. not a real hostedl. It is a private apartment owned by grandmother,mother and daughter katarina. One toilet and shower for 5 occupants(owners) and from one to six renters. No English speaking person,except the grand daughter(19 year old)

Liked: Extremely safe, clean; fast wireless; ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS food; and, most of all, friendly, helpful owners. Kristina's English is excellent and her grandmother communicates with one of the nicest smiles I've ever seen. I've spent time in a number of apartment-hostels in Ukraine, and this is decidedly the best.

Liked: This is my third visit to Kristina's Flat, and it really does feel like something of a second home. I'd recommend it especially for solo female travelers. Note: as of the middle of June there's now a very strong wireless connection for the whole place (not just a computer, as described).

Liked: Ok, so its a 20 minute trip from the city centre, but if you are after an authentic experience of Kiev, this is your place. Kristina is a wonderful host, and she and her granny are very friendly and helpful. There is internet access but no wi-fi.

Liked: I had a fantastic stay, it's an adventure to find but it's worth it. Kristina speaks brilliant english, which I have only found with a hand full of other people in the Ukraine, and despite coming back one morning at the ungodly hour of 3 o'clock the only concern the next day was that I had gotten home safely and that I was ok. I stayed at a place similar to Kristinas in Simferopol and these were the 2 best places I stayed on my 11 day trek through the country. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone

Liked: This is the third time I´ve stayed with Kristina, and each time has been excellent. Her place is small, so there aren´t a lot of other people there but she goes out of her way to be helpful. The flat is spotless, and the experience is always great.

Liked: We arrived with our three years old son, just passing by, taking our flight on the very next day. We were lucky with the transport, somebody helped us. And I got from Kristina and her grandma just what i thought to get, and what we needed, a loving experience, a space of security, a support in our long trip from Hungary to Auroville, India. Even in the middle of H1N1 hysteria.

Liked: Kristina and her grandmother are absolutely lovely, and very generous. If anything the description on hostelbookers underplays the apartment's charms. It's extremely clean and peaceful, at least while I was there.

Liked: This is more of a homestay than a hostel. It is small and very cosy and I felt very welcome. You will not meet loads of packpackers here as it is small but if there are others then you can get to know each other well. Kristina speaks good English and is helpful with what to do and see. Her Grandma although cannot speak English is very friendly and will still chat to you with a big friendly smile:). It is about 20-30 minutes from the centre which is fine considering the price. It also allows you to take in the Atmosphere of the real Kiev. It is clean and has good bathroom.The only slightly bad point is that it can be a bit hard to find and is a bit dark at night time if you are female. Saying that there are usually people about who are willing to try and help you. Once you know where the flat is though its easy. I would certainly recommend this place and would go back myself should I visit Kiev again.

Liked: The owner was very helpful. She gave us some tipps concerning public transport and she lent us a map.This location was pretty difficult to find because it is a private flat. You can use the kitchen and bathroom everytime you need and it is clean there.

Liked: To stay at Kristina's Flat is a really special experience. It is located in one of the all concrete sovjet-style residential areas that you would never get to see otherwise. Those flats aren't particularly beautiful on the outside so to say, but this one is really nice and clean on the inside.

Liked: I was entirely satisfied. Just remember that the bus & marshroutny taxi stop is in front of Macdonalds, which you will see when you walk out of the Metro and get to the street.

Liked: Kristina is a university student renting out rooms in her gradmother's flat. The flat is very, VERY clean. Everybody is friendly, and the price is perfect.I've stayed there twice now and I'd happily recommend this place to everybody coming to Kiev.

Liked: This "hostel" was comfortable, excellent value, and run by friendly people. I shall certainly try to stay here again when next in Kiev. However it is worth noting that it is not really a hostel. It is actually just a room that is rented out by a helpful and charming family.
