We at TIU own all our hostels/campsites, we all live in Ukraine because we love it here and are very happy to share with everybody who comes to stay with us our experiences. Our hostel in Chernivtsi was purchased with the idea of being a good hostel that we would like to stay in ourselves this is why everything is so at hand and relaxed. We don't go to our separate homes at night; we don't have a private room! We are sleeping in a bunk in the hostel you are staying at!
Chernivtsi is a beautiful city located in western Ukraine close to the Romanian and Moldovan borders. Steeped in history, the city is known for its prestigious university and the large market. Once part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The architecture is very much Austrian influenced. It is a perfect place to explore the parts of western Ukraine not usually visited by foreign tourists.
We are the first hostel in Chernivtsi and strive the give our guests an interesting stay away from the expensive tourist cities like Lviv and Odessa. During the summer months we take guests camping to more remote mountain villages!
