Disliked: we had to change rooms. even though we only stayed two nights, but this wasn,t a huge deal

Liked: Well located and Alison is very helpful, which is very important for budget travellers as every dollar counts. Rooms are spotlessly clean. She took the trouble to drop us at the top of th Efes site which saved a walk up the hill.

Liked: The lady who runs the hostel is very informative and friendly and the rest of the staff will do anything to help. We were able to use the kitchen to cook dinner for ourselves and had a scrummy breakfast too! The rooms were well decorated and a nice size and the shower was piping hot.

Disliked: We were there at the end of the winter season so we wee unable to ake use of the free lift to Ephesus but it was only a 40 minute easy walk and we were given a map and instructions.

Liked: The Kiwi Pensione is close to the Selchuk Otogar and has an incredibly friendly host, when she is around. The rooms were clean and, overall, quite lovely.

Disliked: This may have only been for our room, but we had lukewarm to cold water for our 2 night stay. It would have been okay during summer, but since it is winter, it spoilt our otherwise nice stay at the Kiwi. I think for the price you might be able to find better accommodation elsewhere in town.

Liked: Alison is very knowledgable and helpful about places to see in Selçuk and can help organise trips onwards to places like Pamukkale and Fethiye.The free breakfast was an excellent way to start the day. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to other travellers.

Liked: Alison and staff were very friendly

Disliked: One of the big draws was their pool, but after making the very hot 25 min walk out to it we found it was drained for cleaning.... Apparently they do this once a week so it is closed often.

Liked: We really enjoy the friendliness of Alison, the English owner who is very helpful if you need info on the area. Also the room was very clean and nice with a little terrasse.

Liked: The guy met us at the bus station and took us straight to the hostel. The pool was absolutely fantastic, so cold and refreshing!
