Liked: Staff were helpful and the place was really good value.

Disliked: We had the standard room and it was looking a little in need of refurb. Not a big problem though but a little peeling paint and damaged shower etc. No wardrobe.

Liked: Food at hotel is good, reasonably priced...but hotel owner refused to tell me where is bus station, pushed me to take up travel pkg with them. Also very calculative, charged me 3% extra for pymt by credit card, as I had been robbed in Athens subway, omonia sq and cheated by trvel agency ZAIS in Istanbul (gave all my usd cash to them), so I literally had no cash with me.

Liked: The position is great and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly, but their friendliness seemed to be proportionate to how many of the additional features (eg breakfast, tours, meals) you paid for. Also some of the things it claims to offer on its website (eg free lift to Ephesus) were not available.

Liked: Adem gave brilliant service. Very clean with very honest staff. Unfortunately no kitchen facilities available to guests, making it difficult to keep to a small budget (and healthy diet!). But all in all fantastic value for money.

Liked: They had the most AMAZING library, put together by the owners I think. That alone would make me recommend the hotel to any traveller, but also it is walking distance from the big bus station, and a wonderful place to base oneself. We booked for 4 days, and stayed for 8. 5 kms in any direction and you are in "another world". I believe they are doing renovations, I only hope the price will not go up too much. An excellent breakfast was only $5 TRY.Excellent value. (We are "mature" Aussie travellers, husband 65 and me 58.Colleen

Liked: Lovely rooms, lovely location and lovely people! Lots of information about things to do. The weekly market is directly outside the hostel and definitely worth a visit. Ephesus is in easy walking distance or there is a very cheap bus from the bus park.

Liked: The location was good and they had loads of information on what to do in the area. the directions to get there from the bus were a little inaccurate, but everyone at the bus stop seemed to know where it was.
