Caretta Caretta Pension is located above Patara village in Turkey. Its run as a family atmosphere pension by the family of Mr Serdar Akay. All our rooms have air condition and balcony and Caretta Caretta Pension Patara is surrounded by a forest of pine trees.

200 meters away from Caretta Caretta Pension is the starting point of the famous trekking route "Lycian way".

In Caretta Caretta Pension Patara you can taste the most delicious Turkish cuisine fresh prepared for you by the family of Mr Serdar Akay.

Caretta Caretta Pension Patara offers you all day long free Turkish tea, and has an Internet access for you. Your host at Caretta Caretta Pension Patara Mr Serdar Akay speaks fluently English.

The Patara Beach is phenomenal. The white sand stretches some 50 m wide and 18 km long. The female Loggerhead Turtle Caretta Caretta comes ashore in May to September at night to lay her eggs in the sand.

The crystal clear blue waters of Patara are gently sloping, so safe for all to swim. By the headland are numerous fish making for good snorkelling. You can climb to the top of a good sized Roman Ampitheatre at Patara and see several Lycian Tombs.

For the really keen walkers there are some wonderful mountains perhaps an hour away by car to the North. Heights of 3000 m can be achieved in stout boots and warm gear.

There are boat trips from Kaş to the West (to Olympos).
There is horse riding on the beach and canoeing in the Patara river.
A trip to the Saklikent Kanyon is spectacular.
