Liked: This family is extremely friendly, the property is central but not too close to noise, and the room was a stellar value (en suite for 25 lira).

Liked: This place was a really nice place to stay. I was walking to town from the ferry terminal when Memo picked me up and took me to the hostel! He also showed me a nice place to eat, took me to a money exchange office, and helped me buy a bus ticket. Location is great, and the rooms were very clean. A very nice place to stay run by very nice people. I recommend it 100% !

Liked: Location: It is really close to the main street and the beach besides it as well as the bus companies. Memo is really nice and helpful. Of course Nuriye the fat cat as well. =)

Disliked: They do provide hot water but it is heated by solar power meaning it is not hot enough in Novemeber to take a proper shower. Same as the heater in the room.

Liked: The hotel had a real homely feeling to it. The location was close to the beach and 5mins from the main shopping/bar strip. I really liked the fat cat that hung around too. Thanks :)

Liked: There are a lot of mentions of Memo, and when you meet him you'll realize he's actually the nicest man in the world. He never tries to push tours or anything on you. He showed us an amazing cheap restaurant we wouldn't have found on our own, and gave us apple tea in the evenings and turkish tea in the mornings. The place is super clean, the cats are adorable.

Disliked: It was really cold at night and there was no heat control, but there were lots of extra blankets in the closet.

Liked: The famous Turkish hospitality is personified here. The owner was so nice, it was almost hard to believe. He solved every problem I had. Told me where to eat, where to swim, what bus to catch - he even drove me to the bus station on his scooter, with my backpack and all! He really takes pride in making his guests feel welcome, as does the other lady who works there. He kept telling me, 'This is your home in Turkey' and he definitely made me feel like it.

Liked: wonderful place to stay. the family is fantastic and very interesting to talk to. the place extremely well located. I will repeat going there. Maltepe Pansiyon went out of its way to make sure we had everything we needed and were extremely friendly. Thank you very much for everything :))

Liked: Simple and great accommodation. Very friendly owners, more than happy to help with anything. Beautiful outdoor garden areas. 10 mins from beach. Air conditioning. Close to bus stops.

Liked: This place is FANTASTIC! We have been travelling for four months and this is by far one of the best places we have stayed at! It felt like we were at home! The staff / family are AMAZING! It has a great location - 2 minutes to the beach / marina - 2 minutes to the centre! It has a kıtchen / fridge which you can use - free wifi and 3 computers with the net free of charge! There is also a supermarket near - 2 minutes away. The rooms are clean, we had our own shower / toilet and and our room had air con, we also got clean towels every second day! We have stayed at a lot of hostels but don't lıke sharing a small room with 10 people and only having one toilet / shower for almost the same price ın Marmaris! Mehmet (owner) helped us plan the rest of our trip for Turkey! I couldn't recommend this place enough! Would I stay here again? Yes! Yes! Yes!

Liked: This place was adorable! The rooms were bright and clean; everyone was very friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we decided to stay again for tonight too.

Liked: It is located near the city center and beach (both 5 minute walk) but you don't get the feeling you're in the middle of the tourist crowd. Supermarket and taxi pick-up right around the courner. And there is free airconditioning, which you will need!

Liked: The first thing you will experiment at your arrival is a glass of cold apple tea, which is so welcoming with the turkish weather. Then, the owner will make everything to make you feel at home. You can use the kitchen and eat in the relaxing garden, or just chill there and make friends. The place is located at 5 minutes by foot from the beach and the center so you can get everywhere you want without using public transport. The rooms and the bathrooms are clean and the area is very safe. Recommend at 100%

Liked: Memo is super friendly and willing to go out of his way for his guests! He is also a massuesse and gave me a free one hour massage...very relaxing after a long day of travelling. I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it. Oh, and then theres the cat.....

Liked: The people who own the place are exceptıonally helpful. They were very welcomıng upon arrıval and showed me to my room straıght away so I could settle ın and offered me free apple tea. They poınted out the best local places to go for food, and the cheap local stores. Internet was freely avaılable (not just Wı-Fı). The owner would always greet me even when he saw me ın town and offer help there :) The lıttle garden courtyard ıs a nıce place to relax and have breakfast ın the mornıng too. Thıs ıs a great locatıon only a 5 mınute walk to the beach, yet tucked away nıcely from the hıgh densıty tourıst areas.

Disliked: Nothıng, It was a great value for money accommodatıon wıth freındly people and a good locatıon.
