Liked: Maltepe Pensiyon was wonderful...Mama Zera, Papa, Mehmet and Nuriye their giant cat...were so friendly, helpful and hospitable..The location is amazing...I went to the beach, the fantastic restaurants, and nightlife the harbour, for groceries EVERYTHING minutes walk from Maltepe Pensiyon.....The service and care are wonderful..whatever you need they look after. We even bought fish at the fish market which Mama cooked for us and we ate it in the beautiful garden. It was wonderful..Plenty of hot water, free wifi, guest kitchen and bright rooms. Nothing fancy but very clean and perfect...

Liked: Came during off season, but ended up having a great time here. Was greeted by the owner´s mother, the fattest cat i have ever seen in my life, and a lovely cup of apple tea. Memo (the owner) is extrelemy friendly and so accomodating to your needs. Needed to catch a bus after my stay and he drove me to the station at 5 am. Living accomodation is not bad either. rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is fairly central to the town. The beach and all the touristy resorts, restaraunts, and bars are about a 10 min walk from the hostel. Was also traveling by myself at the time and did not feel unsafe at all as a girl.

Liked: good place if you don't need internet or expect lunch. They do have 2 computers for internet but it is in the main house and you have to alert the owners who are happy to help but I personally like a more private setting. The kitchen is also available to cook but again in the main house and I found the son to be a bit overbearing in an effort to "help" but really he did not have the information concerning places I was interested in and in fact the info he did give me wasn't entirely accurate. Also I came in the early spring and the heater did not work so it was cold in my room after sun down. The son kept saying "no problem, no problem" and would hand me a blanket and tell me he can get more. Since there is only the outdoor garden area as common space, I was confined to my cold room and went to bed early to just stay warm. They do mean well here but I was out early in the morning.

Liked: I would recommend this place to any travellers who are on a bit of a budget and who are still looking for the feel of a nice warm relaxing place to stay. The rooms in which we stayed were way beyond what we had expected and the family atmosphere is lovely. The location is perfect as its close enough to everything in Marmaris yet still in a quite area. Also the grounds are very well kept which makes for a very nice return home after a nice day of sun drenching. I reccommend this place to all. So please come stay and enjoy the family way of hospitality.

Liked: excellent location; close to everything including the beach etc, very friendly staff (mmmh the apple tea offered upon arrival), basic rooms but all well maintained, clean and calm. enormous cat (the local attraction!). no restaurant facilities but they recommend some very close to the hostel (and good/ good value for the money). definitively to be recommended!

Liked: Pleasant place in the center of the town, beautiful garden covered with shadow all the day, clean rooms and kitchen available for use, free internet access, 200 meter away from beach. Hosts are very kind and warm, always at your serviceDefinitly would come again...

Liked: Cheap, friendly and helpfull staff. The manager was waiting up for us even though we arrived at 2am, 4 hrs after what we announced. Good spacious room with ensuite. Just 5 mins walk to the beach.

Liked: Great place, great location. This is a brilliant family run hostel and they are super friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to make sure that you have a good stay and dont get ripped off by the tourist traps. I recommend it to all travellers who are sticking to a budget but want a friendly, safe, clean place to stay.

Liked: The bedroom was clean and I was given a fan which helped a lot with the heat. The only thing I can say is th bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. I would also be nice if the hostel had a book swap or a common room for people met and chat.

Liked: We had a nice stay here. The owner of the hostel was extremely hospitable and friendly. It has a cool fat cat and nice patio. Just remember to ensure you have air con in your room or else it is extremely hot!

Liked: I like the people here, very pleasent stay and no hassle.Fam?ly run and free use of the k?tchen and the ?nternet.Close to the beach and large supermarket mak?ng the stay a cheaper one.My two week stay was very good, there was new a?rcon un?ts ?n all rooms ?f you needed ?t...and clean hot showers...and a very n?ce garden wh?ch was shady from the sun to eat your beakfast and d?nner at leasure.and not to met?on the house cat.., ; )

Liked: Maltepe Pension was a great place to stay - really close to the beach, clean rooms and very friendly staff! The guest kitchen is convenient and the atmosphere in the common room is comfortable and homey. Would definitely come back to stay again!
