Liked: Wonderful terrance with beautiful sea view. Helpful owner who provides me excellent kayaking trip to the sunken city nearby. Everybody is so friendly here and i defintiely feel like home.

Disliked: Hmmmmm.........NO!!!

Liked: Close to town.

Disliked: We couldn´t use the kitchen even though it was not being used for anything else. The location was a little hard to find. Reception was on the roof terrace and the groundfloor door was always open so anyone could walk in unnoticed from the street - security could have been better. Breakfast was a little limited and not a buffet. Thin walls and unfortunately we had a very noisy person in the next room. Room was a little small

Disliked: Please do not stay at this hostel. After they tried to charge me an outrageous fee for their laundry service, which i refused to pay the full amount, i was physically assaulted and spat on by the owner! Sure people try to rip you off, but this was ridiculous, and your safely should not be put in danger, for trying to stick up for yourself and pay what is fair..And under no circumstances should be you assaulted or spat on my a property owner.. Afterwards he threatened to use my credit card details to take the money owed..Like some other reviews, Ates are just in it for the money... Please do not stay here, its not worth the pain!

Disliked: the room was small, and the bathroom was really tiny. we had to take the bags to another bulding throught a "bridge" and then descent 2 stories... when we could just climb some staires

Liked: Location, atmosphere and cleanliness were excellent, The hospitality was outstanding and the meals were the best we ate in the whole of our time in Turkey. First class.

Liked: Delicious free buffet breakfast. Free internet. Amazing view over bay and cool chill out area on roof terrace. Staff very helpful. Great location only 5 minute walk to town. Rooms very clean and airconditioned. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Liked: it has good location and it takes about 20-15 minutes on foot from Otogar.

Disliked: I am travelling for 2 months now Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Turkey and Katar. This is the WORST hostel I have ever stayed in my life. As soon as I canceled my last day, the owner and family changed their attitude. all of sudden. The guy, who looked the owner, ordered me(not asking) like that. "Don't hang your laundry" I saw many people hanging their clothes and told him about that. "It is prohibited. Do not hang" he kept ignoring my question. Then, he kept saying that "Don't bring your water." I asked 'then what if i feel thirsty?' "Buy here. There is a restaurant and bar. Don't bring" I understand about that because they need to sell their more expensive water than supermarket near the hostel and make a profit. What made me offensive was his attitude and his way of speaking. He ORDERed me instead of giving me the information and guiding me because that was the first day. He must have been angry because I canceled the last day even though I stayed for 3 days. Then, he ordered me to pay right away even though other guests pay when they check out. In the morning, the woman, who looked a mother, greeted other guests with a biiiiiig smile on her face and then she just ignored me.. haha Why? Because I canceled and they really really care about MONEY! In the morning, I was using the Internet at the dormitory and turned on the airconditioner. The owner came and turned it off without asking or explaining. She, her husband and other family and staff members, except the cleaning lady, gave me the impression that we, tourists, are walking money for them not guests. I really wanted to have a wonderful time in Kas. However, this hostel ruined my warm feeling about Turkish people, my staying and Turkish hospitality. I really like Turkey, but not this hostel and greedy people. I hurt my feeling a lot. Since I am travelling alone, I really want to make Turkish friends and to talk to local people. This is the truly WORST hostel I have ever stayed.

Liked: I've done extensive traveling in Turkey and this is without a doubt the nicest pension/hostel I've stayed at anywhere in Turkey. The owners are friendly and accomodating, the rooftop terrace is comfortable and a great place to meet fellow travelers, and the food (cooked every night for a very reasonable price) is amazing! The owner will arrange anything you want to do in Kas, making your vacation even more restful.I can't say enough nice things about this property or about how much I've enjoyed their hospitality and my stay in Kas.You should absolutely stay here!

Liked: The property was on the very edge of Kas, near the theatre - it was quiet except for the mosque that was very close by. The owner has a very easy going approach, you can help yourself to drinks, buy meals etc and pay at the end of your stay. He will do pick up and drops at the bus station. The view from the terrace is fantastic and overall it was an excellent place to stay.

Disliked: The only reason for non top marks on the staff is because the family live in the seating/terrace area and the older daughter is quite stroppy and chose to have a massive tantrum the day we arrived.

Liked: It was like staying with friends. The owner picks you up from the bus station and takes you back. Great views and a fab room. You can also use the pool across the road at the Hideaway and the sunloungers by the sea at Limone. We will definetly be back.

Liked: we thought this property was very good value,the staff were very friendly & the food was cooked fresh when they took your order.The rooms were clean & freshly painted.The breakfast was also good with a large selection,just like home from home.We will definately use this property again,cant fault it.
