Customer reviewthe location is absolutely perfect: next to the main cultural hotspots and close to the tramstop. Service was OK but the room was small and the room had no view. |

Mohsin SiddiqueWe stayed in double private ensuite room. The first night they picked us up from ataturk airport via hotel arranged transportation, they put us in another partner hotel (Istanbul holiday hotel) instead of star holiday for the first night without any notice where the rooms were awfully small. So, some time was wasted the next morning to move to Star holiday hotel. Star Holiday has an ideal location. Nice and spacious rooms. Cooperative staff. A little bit old furniture in rooms. The rooms were clean and hotel gives a feeling of security as well. no elevators..!! |

Istvan GalambLocation, view (from the breakfast room), cooperation of the staff were excellent. Location is rather noisy, but you have to know you are staying in the East, so it is normal. I really enjoyed it, especially the müezzin's voice as well. Istanbul is a wonderfull city, and Star Holiday is a very good base to explore it. You can stay and sleep in a clean, safe place in the heart of the Sultanahmet district for valuable prices. Special advice: do not forget to have your evening tea, (and/or some having special food there) sitting on the inbuilt benches in the park between the Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque, in the middle of the the citizens' mass, and admireing the two illuminated miracles. It is a great experience, and only a few steps from the Star Hoiday. |

Customer reviewVery misleading marketing. A horrible place, and not anywhere near worth £25 a night! |

Customer reviewVery good and safe location with à beautiful view from the breakfast room. The breakfast is also correct. Tiny and noisy rooms (a little less at night) but mattress very well. Bathroom not very well cleaned, valves to change. Staff correct. Beware of the proposed shuttle service to go to the airport. It tells you 30 minutes to get to the airport, it takes 1 hour instead, because before heading to Atatürk, the shuttle circled the area until Eminönü to take other passengers, a cold sweat if you have provided time accounted for your flight. |

Customer reviewIt was RIGHT across the street from the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, Basilica Cistern, and just a few minutes from the Grand Bazaar - the PERFECT location in the historic district of Istanbul. It was right on a tram line, so it was easy to get to and from Ataturk Airport. Also, it was a main street so it felt quite safe. |
