Liked: Great location, it was very clean and the staffs were extremely friendly. I met many nice people here and the view from the rooftop is amazing.

Disliked: It was a bit hard to find the hostel.

Liked: Great location, right at the heart of Sultanhamet, and friendly staff. They upgraded me from a single room to a deluxe room.

Disliked: Walls are very thin so you can hear people talking from the other room or out in the hallway.

Liked: I visited off season so the hostel was relatively quiet. Location is great. It is very clean: the grunge factor is low. The staff was helpful, breakfast was great, I slept well. I thought I was going to run around today and see more of the cultural places but I decided to stay in the rooftop lounge with music, wi-fi, a sofa and tea whenever I want it. It was relaxing and nice. This is definitely upscale from many of the hostels I have stayed at (and I have had a full range of experiences). I paid more, but I wanted to be able to rest and enjoy myself and this properly had no gremlins waiting in the closet! No creepy showers, critters, overtly hostile people, or surprises at check-in. The room was quiet, other guests were friendly and polite, and overall, it was a great choice. Highly recommended!

Disliked: Luggage storage is not secure. It is, simply, a very small hallway, with an exit door at one side of it and the door was left open. It was on the ground floor with staff but out of sight.

Liked: Agora is in a great location in Sultanahmet area ideal for visiting the sites. The staff is very friendly and the hostel is clean.

Liked: The hostel has great staff, is really clean, has a great breakfast, really easy location (you can see the Blue Mosque from the roof), comfortable beds and good travel information. I really enjoyed the stay here and will come back to stay when back in Istanbul.

Disliked: The only thing is hooks in the dorm rooms for coats/towels etc would be great. Its not a dislike, it would just be convenient. There is nothing to dislike about this hostel.

Liked: The entire property was super clean. Rooms and specially the bathrooms. They clean the bathroom like twice a day. No smells inside the rooms or bathrooms. Staff are friendly with helping out with breakfast, checking in, stuff around town etc. They even will help exchange currency.

Disliked: It's in the backside from the blue mosque, it's about 15 min walk from the tram stop to the hostel.

Liked: The rooftop is very cool. Having breakfast overlooking the Sea of Marmara is quite an awesome experience.

Disliked: The lights in the toilet and bathroom will automatically goes off every few minutes. So it is quite weird to keep having to move about every few minutes while you are 'doing your business' to prevent darkness.

Liked: Very clean, quiet at night, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with good showers, friendly people, good service, and a very good location.

Disliked: No common space after midnight when the roof closes, no kitchen area (which didn't matter for us but could to others). Keeping the rooftop/top floor (enclosed area) open 24-7 and a self-service free espresso/cappuccino/hot water machine with tea bags on the bar would be significant upgrades that would put this hostel on par with some of the better hostels I have stayed in in Europe. There is a little common space to sit and use the internet in the lobby, but speaking volume anything above a whisper is not allowed after midnight. Therefore, this hostel, while great at what it does, is lacking something of significance for travelers (from different time zones)--common space where they can socialize, share, relax, surf the web, read a book etc. at all hours. The upstairs could serve the purpose well, if they would just keep it open!

Liked: Nice rooftop terrace and area for relaxation on the top floors. Free use of computers was nice and the staff were both helpful and pleasant.

Liked: I can only recommend this hostel. Very clean (they seem to clean the bathroom several times a day) very friendly and helpful staff, great guests (no dodgy people or permanent residents), very save (you get a whole private lockerbox where you can lock down all your bags and not only your phone and money) well, super lockation directly next to Hagia Sophia and Co and an exceptional breakfast. Disliked: Even though the lockation is great to visite the whole must have seen list and to go out in tuenel area the inclubs like reina are a bit far away.

Disliked: We booked the Private Double Ensuite Sea View, but the sea view is not in what i expected, just a little "sea gap" between the houses in front of this hostel... may be in my home's 180'c sea view in Hong Kong is too good and difficult to compare with others?

Liked: Great location, overly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff, awesome price. The breakfast was good and the rooftop bar perfect. The hostel felt very safe. One of the best I've ever been to!

Liked: Great hostel. Rooftop is one of the best in the area and the drinks are cheap up there. The staff are all fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. The location is handy for sightseeing, less handy for going out. I would certainly recommend this hostel to others.

Disliked: The dorm was far too warm for my taste, and I wasn't in the basement. I wish there was more space for changing since the showers are small and the dorm doors don't lock.
