Liked: Lovely hostel, excellent locat?on, very helpful staff. The breakfast had plenty of choice, and was freshly made each morn?ng. Would def?nately suggest th?s hostel to my fr?ends, and would come back whenever ?n the area. Enjoy your stay!

Liked: Very new and clean with plenty of hot water in the showers and lockers in the room. Aircon in the rooms and nice terrace to sit out and chill. Just off the main bar area (1 minute walk) so very convienient but no noise.

Liked: I have been travelling all round the world for 7 months and have stayed in many Hostels. This one so far is definately the best one. Very clean and comfortable. Staff most helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend this Hostel.

Liked: Wow!!! What an amazing place to stay! I have travelled a lot - and this is one of the best hostels I have ever come across! Awesome location - very central to everything; spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds, airconditioning and a huge locker for each person (there is also a safe at reception); luxurious showers - better than at my own house; free internet access 24/7 on your own or the hostel's laptops (there are 3 for general use); and the best breakfast buffet in all of Turkey, served on the gorgeous roof terrace - lovely view! And in the evenings, you can hang out on the roof terrace with your own food and drink, which is great for the traveller on a budget - all the other hostels in the area have restaurants/ bars and sell food/alcohol to you at an inflated cost. The staff also deserve a special mention - all of them are wonderful and friendly and fun and really make you feel at home. There is also a travel desk, where they can give you advice about stuff to see and do in Turkey - and they can even book it for you! Just talk to Volkan - he is the man! He organised my whole trip for me and it was all fantastic!! Go and stay there - you won't regret it!!

Liked: Absolutely loved this place - couldn't recommend it more! Spotless - there always seems to be someone cleaning, everybody was really friendly and it was easy to meet people, great buffet breakfast, gorgeous rooftop terrace and the most AMAZING shower ever!!! Fantastic location. Jem is absolutely adorable and Volkan is a champ and an excellent cook. The place to stay in Istanbul for sure!

Liked: Where to begin: the staff were absolutely amazing - friendly, honest. helpful, generous, fun etc., the rooms and bathrooms were incredibly clean and uncrowded, the atmoshphere was incredible - new friends every night, excellent location, free laptop internet (move around the hostel to have a bit of privacy or even watch a movie) plus free wireless, INCREDIBLE breakfast, ROOFTOP BAR WITH BYO - bring your own drinks, kitchen, beautiful old building, all the services you could hope for - shuttle service and turksih baths hook-up, THE LIST GOES ON.Would happily stay here again and again: after 8 nights i'm depressed about leaving. A few hostels close by are rated similarly but in reality don't even compare - this said after visiting them to see friends and have a few beverages. Definitely the best base to explore an amazing city.

Liked: We're lucky we found such a great place to stay! We checked in to Agora because of their lockers (huge enough to fit two backpacks!), a rarity in Istanbul. The location is very central and close to many cafes and restaurants — a lively area. The showers must be experienced to be believed! Wifi works everywhere in the building, and the staff even provides laptops for guest use. We met a lot of great people here, there's always someone hanging out. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Volkan — thank you! Very clean, new building, above-average breakfasts, lots of information about the city. We'll be back!

Liked: I can't say enough about the staff and facilities at the Agora. It's easily the best hostel I've stayed in on my travels around the world. The beds come with real mattresses and the pillows aren't some lumpy cotton ball wad from 2 centuries ago; lockers are huge, they provide you locks, towels, rain showerheads in the bathrooms and the most amazing view of the sea from the roof top terrace where everyone hangs out in the morning and after a long day out. Breakfast is a spread. It's really everything they advertise and more on top of which Valkan is the best! He not only gave us great advice on where to go eat, he was our personal tour guide of the city nightlife and even gave me money to get home when my wallet was stolen. I love you Valkan!!!

Liked: It was a really good choice and I would strongly recommend it. The best thing was that the staff (and Volkan specially) was very friendly and made us feel like being at home (they even offered us a free small meal the first night because we arrived very late). This created a very good atmosphere and the rest of the guests were also very friendly. They also gave us touristic information and recommend places to go.The hostel has an panoramic terrace where the breakfast was served and we met with the other guests and Volkan every night. The rooms and bathrooms are completely new (the hostel is opened since June 2009) and very clean. The beds are very comfortable, there is air-conditioning and personal lockers in the rooms. There are no tables or chairs in the rooms.The reception is open 24 hours and always willing to help with any problem. There is free internet with three available laptops or wifi. Bed linen and towels were included. The situation is really good (2-3 minutes walking to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque).

Liked: Agora guest house is a very new place, it is clean, pretty and nice. Mattress and pillow were thick and comfy, I can compare them to those in 5 star hotels. Best bedding among the hostels I have been to. Nice shower with the private space, restroom is nice also.Roof top is awesome and we just have a party last night. All staffs are really friendly, good English, awesome.Breakfast is included also. You get good bread, cheese, vegetable, and fruits.Locations is the main hostel area, near blue mosque.Free internet of course.This price is for promotion, so if you are planning to visit Istanbul, you should get advantage of this cheaper price!!

Liked: This was the most amazing hostel that I stayed at in Turkey. The bathrooms are gorgeous marble, the rooms are immaculately clean and included air-con in the dorms, and the breakfast is fantastic and on a beautiful roof top patio over looking the ocean. The staff went well out of their way to be incredibly helpful and informative.
